I bought this Kids Magnesium Oil Spray to help with bedtime calmness, and it has quickly become part of our nightly routine. The lavender + neroli scent is very gentle and not overpowering, which is perfect for kids. It sprays evenly and absorbs well without feeling greasy. I usually spray it on my child’s legs or feet before bed and do a quick massage. It really helps with winding down, and I’ve noticed more relaxed evenings and smoother bedtime transitions. It’s hard to say if it really worked to help me sleep better. I may have to update this later if I can say more definitively. This is why I can’t give it 5 stars yet. Even before getting this, I was familiar with how magnesium is supposed to aid in sleep and how aromatherapy is a popular way to help one relax so I’m excited to have our grandson try this because sometimes it’s hard for him to wind down. I think it may become a nice calming “routine” that can also make your child feel mentally comforted by this spray. However, just commenting on my initial impressions: Of course I love that this is all gentle and natural. I am familiar with this brand, Vigority and have used and liked their other products. There’s a very faint scent of lavender. Personally, I’d love for the scent to be stronger, but that’s just me. The spray is rather light, perhaps just a tiny bit tacky. It squirts out easily. I didn’t have any bad reaction to it on my skin. What’s great too is that it’s 3.4 oz so perfect to get through TSA and take it with you for travel, especially if you are having to deal with different time zones. I wonder why they say to spray it on the legs, feet and back and not elsewhere on one’s body. I want to be able to smell it say, on the back of my hands. Although, it does say you can spray it on your pillow so that could get on your face. Not sure if that would stain the pillowcase though. I also wonder how long each squirt lasts. For example, if you find you woke up too early and want to get back to sleep for around an hour or two longer, would it help you from tossing and turning just for a short period of time. Read more

I love the scent! Lavender is definitely notable, not sure about neroli, but I love lavender and I think it’s the best scent for nighttime relaxing routine. I use this spray for pillows and rooms and I love it! It’s formulated for kids so I use it for nursery too, just to add that lavender aroma to the air, I feel it helps with better sleep. I love smelling it on my pillow when I go to bed. It’s also supposed to be good for use on body but I didn’t try it like that, I prefer creams with magnesium for body and I really like using them (they help with my tired legs and cramps enormously).
