The media could not be loaded. Got this for my daughter’s birthday and we use Amazon music. First, as you can see by the video, the music cuts in and out. This is brand new out of the box and there are no other apps open, But it does not seem like the system can handle the amount of ram that is required for Amazon Music. When I press pause on the music, it keeps playing for a few minutes before actually stopping even if I completely close out the app. Maybe Spotify works better than Amazon Music, but This is completely unusable If you have Amazon Music. The other thing is that I cannot switch profiles on Amazon Music, So it requires my daughter to use my profile and not her own, Which is really annoying as well. She is only six and does not have her own sign into Amazon Music, but in my phone app, I can switch profiles so she can access the songs she likes. On This MP3 player that is not an option, I cannot switch profiles. I’ll have to set up her own email address and get her own Amazon account which I can then connect to mine and sign in through her email in order to get this to be under her profile, Which is really complicated and annoying to do. This might be an Amazon Music app issue, but There has got to be an easier way to play a streaming service for a kid. Read more
Works pretty well for my 8 and 10 year olds. I like that it connects to our existing streaming services (Spotify) so I didn’t have to transfer any music files. Four stars because the touch screen is a little slow/less responsive than I would like. Read more
Great little MP3 player for younger kids. Makes her feel like she has a big kid "phone". Great battery life and good parental control options. I would recommend getting a protective case for it as well. Has many app options that parents can approve and great speaker. Read more
I gave my daughter this as a Yule present and she found herself a nice corner to listen to her music. It's easy to use, parental controls are great. It has a case and screen protector. The case is a clear smoky color but you can still see the pink under it. It was easy to hook up to the computer and move files over. There is also a FM radio that you can save channels on. I'm not interested in Bluetooth so I can't speak on that. The headphones act as an antenna for the radio but there us a speaker on the player as well. Read more
I bought two of these as a Christmas present for my daughters. Unfortunately, I bought them in September and am now unable to return them. Both of these broke after one use. One won't turn on at all now and the other won't connect to the internet anymore. Complete waste of money. I even tried contacting the maker of these and have gotten no response. Don't buy these. The fact that both of these broke should speak to the terrible quality of this item. Read more
This was what my daughter (7.5 years old) wanted most for Christmas. She was delighted and listened to it for many days straight. The Spotify kids has stuff she listens to at school and she was so excited to be able to see the pictures and not just ask our Kid Alexa for music. She does have audiobooks via Audible that she wanted and I tried over and over things I saw online to get the kids profile option to show up. I even disastrously uninstalled it and had to have customer service help me get it back. Ultimately no hacks work because the android operating system it uses is too old to be compatible with the kids drop down in Audible. That means she has access to my whole library too when she listens and could use my credits. We've talked about it and as it stands I'm going to consider it our first intro to supervised internet time, but as we bought the player for Kids Audible access this was fairly disappointing.
