I don’t know where to begin with this one. I bought this monitor for travel purposes since it doesn’t need WiFi. I am so impressed not only was this product cheap but it has exceeded my expectations. The two most important things I wanted in this monitor was to be able to click one button to turn the screen on and off while still being able to listen and it not be a struggle at night and to have good enough signal to walk around. This monitor does both things. I have a very nice and expensive monitor at home that is also not on WiFi. It has been a good one as far as simplicity BUT it has been acting up when my phone is around it and just loses signal. So bad that most nights I can’t even have my phone plugged in or it will not work. Literally so silly. And my room is no more than 10 feet away from my kids room. We are directly across the hall from each other, so signal should never be an issue. It’s just an issue when the phone is near by and using the internet (streaming/ socials media or honestly all pages can be cleared and it just be plugged in and still mess it up). I digress, THIS monitor though has a quality image, good noise, good buttons that arent complicated, the sleep feature on the screen that still allows audio when off, and probably many more features I haven’t played with. Frankly, I’m thinking of just switching monitors. For travel purchases I did get a clip on mount for the pack n play and it also worked well, just search mounts that are compatible with this monitor. 10/10 recommend for a non WiFi monitor. DO NOT BUY!!! If I could give this 0 stars, I would. I don’t normally bother with reviews but this one is so terrible I feel like I have to warn other parents. Volume does NOT WORK!!! Baby could be screaming their head off and you’ll hear the faintest sound possible from the baby monitor even though it has the volume turned up all the way. Also, CONSTANTLY makes clicking sound all night for every movement the baby makes on both the camera in the nursery and the monitor. So even though I’m not alerted when she cries, I’m woken up by the light turning on constantly with a clicking noise from the machine to let me know the baby moved. (She sleeps in a SNOO by the way so she “moves” ALL NIGHT) Just horrible device- I cannot sleep confidently or even go to the other side of the house confidently. I have to sleep with everyone’s door open and in a room close to the baby’s just in case. Oh and the volume signal on the actual screen will get locked and not turn off so while I can’t hear the baby crying, I also can’t see her because the volume notches are covering her eyes. This monitor has great picture and sound quality, and works anywhere in our house. It was super easy to set up, the battery lasts a long time, and it’s loud enough to catch every little baby noise. My only gripe is that the camera doesn’t tilt down far enough to get a full view of the crib — we had to tape it to angle it just right. The media could not be loaded. Gets the job done . I needed a camera to watch my little baby and it honestly works great , I can see him good during day/night. Move the camera any angle . I saw some reviews say about the clicking sound and the camera turning on and off during night mode. And its true , however I found that if you go on VOX and turn it off , it will stop the constant turning off if camera and clicking sound.
