I love the material and it's very comfortable. I bought XL because that's the size I usually wear in regular clothes so I didn't measure my waist. Go a size up because I had to use the extender. I have POTS and possible hEDS and compression garments are the difference between being upright or bedridden. After much research I found that many people like myself benefit from corsets. While any corset might help with blood pressure, posture, keeping the joints in place and relieving coat hanger pain they are not all made equal. I got this on a lightning deal figuring I'd try it for the price. Taking into account other reviews I bought a size down from what I normally wear. I am 5'6" and 180. I normally wear an xl. This corset is well made, thick and sturdy. It fits my torso perfectly and with the extender, I can get it to the second hook row. Hubs was thrilled as it smoothed my tummy and erased the appearance of my baby weight. It offers great back support, looks great, and works wonderfully, for my needs. Read more
