I bought the ZVTQ Kinesiology Tape (3 Rolls) for my daughter who does competitive gymnastics, and it has been a huge help. The tape is easy to apply, sticks well, and stays in place through long practices, sweat, and even after she showers. I really appreciate that it’s waterproof, breathable, and hypoallergenic—she has sensitive skin, and this didn’t cause any irritation at all. She mainly uses it for ankle and wrist support, and she says it gives her the stability she needs without feeling stiff or uncomfortable. The adhesive is strong but still peels off without hurting her skin. Each roll lasts a long time, so the 3-pack is a great value. I bought this after someone recommended it for mouth taping while you sleep. I had previously bought a brand of mouth tape made specifically for that purpose from Wal-Mart and it was horrible. Left terribly sticky residue and strips of black fabric that were almost impossible to get off. This, in comparison, is PERFECT. It is comfortable, leaves zero residue on my skin, is customizable because I can cut it myself, and FAR cheaper per use than the brand I had bought which came with so many issues. Read more
I was surprised at how this supports my wrist -- almost the same effect as a brace, as it reminds me not to exceed the movement it allows (although I could, if I tried). Works well to help bolster muscles when working out (in my case, shoulder and wrist PT). As others have noted, the edges tend to pull away. For the price compared to precut strips, I feel like this tape is a good value. It seems to hold tight where placed but is elastic enough for comfortable movement. I removed the piece from the length of my arm but left the should pieces on while I showered last night and the tape is still holding tight 24 hours later. The material is thin enough so it doesn't show through clothing (probably would if skin tight but I don't wear skin tight clothes). It's also thick enough to do the job its meant to. Easy to apply depending on where you need to use it. I'm taking it to my PT tomorrow to see how to place it properly if I didn't in my trial run. Definitely helped reduce my pain while doing my required PT exercises. The only reason I only gave 4 stars was because of the corner edges pulling away. I think if I had cut the pieces with rounded edges that might not be such an issue. Also, be sure you're not tying to put it on over skin with lotion on. I didn't wash or use an alcohol wipe before placing and I'd be willing to bet that makes a difference. I will update the review if my next application proves different results. Read more
