I have hEDS, and often use kinesiology tape to supplement my overly flexible tendons and ligaments. I like that this tape comes with graphed lines on the non-tape side, making it easy for me to measure and cut the exact amount I need. This holds up very well in the shower; I usually am able to have it last 2-3 showers, and as a healthcare worker feel I'm a medium to heavy use customer. The adhesive is reliable and the tape itself dries decently with a towel, and even better if you use a hair dryer. The downside to this is that it can be a bit of a struggle to remove, but with a bit of mineral or baby oil it comes off comfortably. I purchased this set almost a year ago, and use it roughly 2-4 times per month. I still have about one roll left. Read more
Works as it should. Good, strong adhesive. Definitely waterproof. Doesn't irritate the skin. Alleviates pressure and pulling. Read more
I’ve applied these strips 3 different times now and I’m still not sure what I think about their effectiveness. They don’t feel exactly like the tape that my physical therapist puts on me. With her application I have no foot pain. When I’ve used this brand, my pain is lessened but not gone. Is that because of how I applied it or is it the tape itself? Not sure. The colors are nice, it’s easy to use and it stays on. It does tend to unravel along the edges but does stay in place. I wouldn’t call it waterproof because after a bath, the strips are saturated. However, after drying with the hair dryer, it stayed in place. I’ll be taking a roll to my therapist to get her take on it. Read more
I will admit that I've never purchased the name brand kinesiology tape, but I've had it used on me by physical therapists and doctors. When I hurt my foot the last time and knew I'd have to be replacing the tape at home, I was reluctant to pay high prices. I decided on this set as it had the right width, was cut to needed length, and had fun colors. (If you have to wear it, why not be fun?) I thought it felt a little thinner than the doctor's brand, but this tape worked just as well as the stuff the doctor put on. My foot healed up nicely, and I've since used it in other areas just as successfully. My daughter took one of the rolls and was happy with it as well. We just make sure to round the corners and rub it well after placing to heat up the adhesive. Then it stays in place for 3 days easily. It might stay longer, but that's about as long as I can go with anything like this before it starts to irritate my skin. However, after some lotion and going without for a couple of hours, I can put this stuff right back and and not irritate the skin more. It's definitely a new staple in my medicine box. Read more
I didn't find this tape to be effective for treating plantar fasciitis - not enough "pull" (tension?) in the elastic. The adhesive could also be more aggressive. My experience was that if I was working outside (i.e. sweating) it wasn't difficult to get the tape to start "rolling up" inside my socks. Read more
I use this tape over a sensitive long scar on my arm to protect it when something hits it. The tape is easy to measure, cut and apply. Best of all it sticks very well for days on end and is 100% waterproof. The 2 rolls are large and very long, thus you won’t be running out anytime soon! Read more
Love this tape and great for the price. I have problems with certain adhesives, so I was thrilled to find these. No skin irritation or rash like some other brands. Read more
Compared to the big band brand- it holds up, cuts well and sticks well when you prep with alcohol. Read more
