This product replaces an inexpensive, collapsible metal frame which squeaked whenever I adjusted my sleeping position.The collapsible frame also required a box spring as it only had one cross member. I recently prchased a new mattress for an extra bed room and the Superray looked sturdy and was priced right. It took about 20 minutes to assemble. Lots of screws to tighten with an Allen wrench so wrist strength needed. Loose slats fit perfectly and set into brackets with a good push. Once fully assembled and tightened this bed frame is very solid. And no noise when you move around. Its perfect for a mttress with no box spring My only complaint is that the plastic retainer clips used to keep the mattress from sliding off don't stay on. The clips will pop off with a small bit of pressure fom the mattress. I have been using the product off and on for a month in our guest room without the clips and it hasn't been an issue. Read more

This metal bed frame was easy to assemble, is very sturdy, and provides a nice base for my mattress which does not require a box spring. This frame comes with silicone or rubber coverings on the leg bottoms, and the frame stays where placed on the floor -- it doesn't move around or need to be straightened out. Built well, solid construction even though the frame is 3/4" by 1.5" construction. I think the reason is the design of the corners. I was surprised that the front corner connection is plastic but the frame is rock solid compared to most others. I would not be concerned though because the important components here are all metal. I was truly expecting this frame to have some instability/wobble but it's solid and no squeaks. This is not my first rodeo with bed frames and I've had cheap ones costing more that I sent back but I've also had some good ones too. One gripe is the silicon rubber feet. While quite, they will get cut over time from normal usage and the exposed metal will scratch wood floors. I know this from experience with other frames and they were hard PVC plastic. I swapped them out with PVC plugs and then placed felt retangular felt boots over them. You could probably slide the silicon feet back over the plugs but I opt'd for felt boots as they are much more durable. Problem solved but this will cost you an additional coin if you need to do that. I won't knock a star off for that butwhile the silicon will stop the bed from sliding it also cuts easily. Read more
