Saved my jacket! This patch stuck instantly and has held for 2 months without issue. No more am I leaving little feathers every time I sit down! Also used it to patch a sleeping bag. Works way better than tape. And very affordable. I cut my patches with rounded edges to that they wouldn’t easily lift from the corners. My black polyester parka needed repair due to small holes at the shoulder and a worn-out bottom hem. I bought this patch along with a green canvas iron-on patch for another jacket. This black patch is not iron-on; it’s adhesive-backed and applied by peeling off the paper liner. The material is fairly thin, which makes the backing a bit tricky to remove, but it’s also flexible and easy to work with. I cut a circular patch for the shoulder and a rectangular piece that folds from the front to the back at the hem. The color and texture aren’t a perfect match, but for a jacket I use mainly for bicycle commuting, it looks good enough. I will report back on the durability of this later. Read more

I don’t know how to sew and had to cut holes into (faux leather) seat covers so to give access to seatbelt buckles. These worked perfectly as reinforcement around the holes as well as to close the edges. Not sure how it’ll hold up yet but so far it seems to be working great! Adhesive on it stuck easily to fabric and faux leather, and it was easy to cut. Read more

Great product! I was hesitant to try this on my favorite down jacket that had caught on a large thorn and ripped a half inch hole down the front. However, I ordered it thinking I would at least see what it looks like. When the product arrived, I made a patch for my jacket and was pleasantly surprised at how well it blended in and matched the color of my jacket. I wanted to repair a big tear in my nylon snow pants. This patching material doesn't stick at all, so I ended up having to throw the pants away, as it was bound to end up costing more to buy more/other patches than to just replace the pants. Wasted money. Read more

If you follow directions and carefully smooth it out, then let it cure it works pretty well. Don't know if it'll hold up to washing in the washer. Read more

It’s a money saver! I’ve had my Tumi Backpack for years. An expensive investment that has served me well. However, little by little the fabric has been unraveling. I noticed another tear & decided to find a solution since buying another Tumi bag wasn’t an option! I found this tape & what a find! I had visualized a strong black tape that would probably look real tacky on my stylish backpack. To my surprise this is truly a fabric tape that adheres to the bag’s fabric like a charm.
