This bed frame had the general vibe I was going for in my spare bedroom at a great price point and quick ship time. There weren’t many reviews but I decided to take a chance. Pros: It only took me an hour from unboxing to full assembly (see screenshot). There was one extra of every bolt/screw which was useful for a reason below in the con section. I like assembling furniture, as long as nothing is busted or missing. My husband doesn’t so I use this opportunity for me-time (ha!). I was able to do everything myself and it was mostly an incredibly easy experience! The instructions were simple to follow, although common sense is needed in some steps in order to make pieces fit. The headboard is pretty visible if you have a mattress that is around 8 inches. I added a short box spring to bring it up to 12 inches and the headboard was still visible but barely. There is no noise at all (according to the guests that slept over) and as long as your memory foam has a box spring, the mattress is sturdy and won’t slide around. Cons: if using a memory foam, you’ll definitely need a mattress that’s 8 inches or taller, or else your guests will feel the slats. I had a 6 in memory foam and needed to add a mattress topper. Wasn’t enough so I got a free box spring from marketplace. 12 inches was perfect. My memory foam mattress slid around a bunch so the box spring prevented that. The only part that really wasn’t ideal is that one of the holes in a connecting metal pieces was completely misaligned, which made it impossible to assemble and difficult to remove. I didn’t take off a star because there was an extra just in case one didn’t fit. My husband helped remove the misaligned piece that was stuck and the extra piece luckily worked perfectly. Overall I’m very impressed with this bed frame, and it’s a great option for those wanting a Victorian style on a budget. Would recommend and purchase again. Read more

Better than I expected. Very easy to put together. The two bolts on the headboard kind of bother me and I don’t know why they designed it that way, but my pillows hide the bolts. It’s a lot shorter than what I’m used to which is good because I’m older! Good product for the price. Read more
