I’ve reviewed a few kitchen caddies and this one is definitely one of the best I’ve seen. The black painted stainless steel frame looks really nice and I think the caddy offers an excellent value for the price (currently $16.99). Many kitchen caddies these days use a diatomaceous earth base to soak up water; although I like the concept and the DE base looks nice, in my experience, it doesn’t always work as well as it sounds, as the base can get slimy if you don’t clean it frequently. This caddy uses a different approach that is a bit more practical, which is to have a tray underneath to catch the water and then use a drainage spout so the water can drain out into the sink. I like having three different sections to organize the items. Another thing I particularly like about this caddy is that it’s substantially larger than many other kitchen caddies, so it fits all of the essentials (soap, bottle brush, sponge, scrubbing sponge, etc.) and you can get away with just buying one caddy. The only caveat is that because of the way the drainage works, you do need to be willing to put the caddy right next to your sink; it won’t work to have it further away unless you want to close up the drainage spout (which can be done, but then you have to drain the drip tray manually from time to time). This sponge holder completely changed how tidy my sink area looks! I’ve gone through a few different caddies before, but they either rusted, slid around, or collected gunk at the bottom. This one solves all those problems. The material feels durable and easy to clean, and I love that it has separate spaces for my sponge, brush, and scrub pad. I’ve been using this organizer for about a week and it does exactly what I needed. It holds my dish soap, sponge, and scrubber in one spot instead of cluttering the counter. It comes with a bottom piece you can switch around depending on where you want the water to drain, but I didn’t have to change anything for my setup. The tray drains well and doesn’t leave puddles underneath, which keeps the sink area cleaner. The rack feels sturdy and doesn’t slide around when I use the pump bottles. I also like that the side holder for taller brushes is removable because it gives some flexibility depending on what you use. So far I’m happy with it and would get it again. Read more
