Really satisfied with this product. Very sturdy and has a simple elegant look with the wood and metal combo. Assembly can be a pain because the instructions are just a one page diagram that’s hard to make out in certain spots. Just be sure to have all the small screw holes for the wood rods on the same side. Also the holes for the rods facing inwards before bolting anything up. Mounting can also be tricky if your wall studs don’t line up. I ended up just using 3/4 plywood which I mounted to the studs. I then mounted the rack to the plywood using bolts and T-nuts. Functional wise it is great. I mostly use it for pull ups and resistance bands but my daughters love to use for stretching. Planning on getting some dip bars for it next. Read more

I researched all of the 'cheaper' ones on Amazon before settling on this Stall Bar. It's pretty great. Got it for a little under $200, I think, and there are a good handful of those competing in that price range, but this one has the metal frame, hard wood dowels, and is pretty solid. A few things to do other than just throwing it up on a wall willy-nilly: - I put mine on a drywall wall on a lower level with standard stud construction behind it. So, to avoid putting too much strain on the wall, I went out and got some pressurized 2x4's from Lowes, measured, cut, over-planned, and installed a solid backing. Without such backing, I'd worry about the normal attachment points being a little too crude for hooking to a normal interior wall without damage or problems down the road. - You'll see other reviewers mentioning that the little screws securing the dowels to the metal frame kept snapping when screwing them in. This is because the dowels are a very hard wood. You should take your time, pre-drill pilot holes, then carefully screw them in. No problem. I kind of wish that the main pull up bar was a solid bar all the way across instead of being split like it is, because I like to use gravity boots, but honestly, this thing is so TALL that I don't have room for grav boots up there anyway. The bar is just a few inches from the ceiling. Standard ceiling height. You can also use squat rack attachments, and there are a few other attachments you can buy for dip bars. I'm keeping an eye out for an 'extended wooden bar' thing that hooks onto the bars, more common in the all-wood stall bars, so I can hook my knees and ankles in to hang upside down, but haven't gotten one yet. Overall it's a really good value, and with some extra planning, you can make it even better. Read more

Very well built. but the instructions are a complete nightmare. Had to hire somebody to take it apart and put it back together properly. You should NOT drill all be screwz in UNTIL u Make sure the top fits on . Otherwise you have some serious rebuilding to do ! which I had to do. Do not drill the wood rods in until you make sure the top fits on then fill them in. Save you hours !trust me. they said I was getting a refund, but I haven’t seen it offered a refund, but never got it Now they’re asking for pictures of it. Before they were going to give me a complete refund. They’re all over the place. Please avoid this company. Read more
