I have these in three colors and love them. I'm short so its a perfect pant fit, top of the shoes. Great for traveling or anything else. Slight swishing noise when you walk but not as loud as a pair of corduroys would be. I bought these in navy blue from our local Costco. I loved them so much that I went to get a 2nd pair only to find that they no longer carried them. I even checked their website. Needless to say, I was ecstatic when I found them on Amazon! These are comfortable enough for lounging, but cute enough for outings. The material is breathable and dries very fast if you get wet. As a consummate traveler I've invested in traveling pants for some time usually spending $50 to $80 for brands like Columbia, Prana etc. In the last year an injury lead to a weight gain and as I resumed my travels I needed a larger size as I intend to lose the weight someday(!) I didn't want to spend the same amount of money. I found these Kirkland pants on Amazon. Honestly surprised to say they are nearly the same quality. The main difference would be that there is a bit of that swish sound of the fabric but after three or four washings that has started to go away. Fantastic fit, love the elastic! Took this on a two week trip, washed it a couple times on the trip and they held up well. Took them hiking and waking around cities. Very comfortable, but the only reason I took one star off is the material isn't as nice as brands like REI, Columbia, etc... however, for the price, they are phenomenal! Read more

I was so thrilled with my first pair of these pants that I purchased for travel that I went searching for more. They packed nicely, didn’t wrinkle, and looked and fit great. I’m about 5’1” so ankle length on an average person hit me just below the ankle—perfect! These wash and dry without fuss. I think they tend to run a little big so you may want to consider going down a size. I was able to pull my regular size up and down without unzipping. Went down to a size 6 and they fit perfectly.
