So the fabric and button are good quality and it comes with extra buttons (although the buttonhole is a bit thread stringy). I LOVE the color! Like a nice burgundy wine. And I’m 5’7” and pants tend to run nearly too short for me but these are a great length. However, these fit me very weirdly. The legs aren’t flattering tailored-looking wide legs like in other trousers I’ve had. These feel baggy and balloony. I think part of the problem is this fabric isn’t crisp like a lot of trousers—it’s super flowy and you can only cut the fabric for each leg so wide before it’s no longer a cute flare leg and it just starts flowing out there like a flag flapping around on your thighs. Another issue for me is that the back of the waistband is elastic. I love me some stretchy black leggings, but I’ve never owned *trousers* with an elastic waistband and these just make me feel like some old lady. Plus, they feel too loose because of it. On the flip side, if you hate buttoning and unbuttoning your pants—or you often need to pull those suckers down in an incontinent heartbeat—these are your pants. I love these pants! The material is silky smooth and the length is perfect for me; which, being on the vertically challenged side (5'0"), is usually difficult to achieve. I purchased the green pair and wore them to a Christmas party. They were comfortable all night; even while dancing (which is most important 😆). I would definitely purchase these again. Read more
