A solid beginner machine
Overall this is a really good beginner machine. It’s easy to use, it’s compact, and it’s basically just pushing a couple of buttons. That was my goal for this machine because I want it to be easy for my family to use as well, rather than only me who literally was a barista for years. Full disclosure, I’ve only used it for espresso and not the frother yet but it’s fit our purposes perfectly! Espresso is a bit frothier than with a more expensive or commercial machine, but people who are used to nespresso and similar like that anyways. The espresso we get is the same as our neighborhood cafe and our americanos taste identical to those we buy there. It’s small and looks nice on the counter. The price is a bit high because you can spend another $20-30 and get a real durable DeLonghi which will probably last longer and just is overall better quality, but for *most* people who just want to make some of their espresso drinks at home but aren’t actually doing this as a hobby or enthusiast… it’s a solid little machine.
