So far these work really good. It is kind of difficult to store because they’re so heavy and it’s multiple pieces. I’ve only had them for a little while, but they’re good to workout with. They’re a good alternative to buying multiple things, you can just adjust the weights and make them different workout equipment. I also like how the weights aren’t metal because they’re not too tough on my hardwood floor. The bar is a little uncomfortable on the neck. But they’re overall very study and work good! Read more

I’m a teacher so finding time to workout every day at the gym was increasingly difficult. I made excuses for why I couldn’t go to the gym- it’s raining, it’s too cold, etc. Buying these took away those excuses. No reason to skip a workout if I have a full weight set waiting for me in my living room! I started lifting a year ago and this weight is perfect for me. They are incredibly versatile and have so many possibilities! I opted for the 66lbs set with steel bars to avoid plastic bar breaking issues, and I’m glad I did. They’re very sturdy and have a similar hand feel to a barbell you’d find at a gym. The plates are stiff steel coated in rubber. The plastic coating on the dumbbell handles was different but after a few workouts I got used to it. Everything arrived perfectly intact and was even a day earlier than expected! I agree with other reviews that screwing the caps on and off can get a bit tedious and does slightly break up the flow of the workout. As an American it also took me some time to adjust to KG instead of LBS. But if you’re looking for something as versatile as this AND as convenient, just splurge on Bowflex. For the price, these are PERFECT for any home workout. I’ve been recommending these to everyone! You will not be disappointed. Read more

I really like this weight set! I’m new in my lifting journey but don’t have the desire to bulk up so the 88-lb set was appropriate. The material is of high quality and quite sturdy. I have not had a problem with the weights in terms of tears or cracks in the plastic. It can be tedious to unscrew and screw things on based on your desired weight. The grip is decent, however, I use my gloves so that helps in addition to my squat pad to help with extra grip. Both the dumbbell and the bar are sturdy elements of this product. Read more

Excellent for the price. The problem with a lot of these kinds of dumbbells is that they are never heavy enough for me. These are a great weight, both in dumbbell and barbell configurations. The grips are comfortable as far as weights go, and they don't take up a ton of space, which is always a plus. Read more

I’ve been using these dumbbells for over a year. I like that the dumbbell weights are adjustable and the handles are comfortable with the slightly enlarged grip. The spinlock collars are plastic, so you don’t get that annoying metal clanging. On the downside, the individual weights aren’t round numbers (2.2, 2.8, 4.4, 5.5 lbs), which feels a bit odd. But what I really hate is trying to turn these dumbbells into a barbell. It’s awkward, slow, and a real pain in the middle of a workout. I ended up buying a separate barbell for convenience, especially if you use a power rack. This set is good for beginners, but if you want a smoother barbell setup or precise weight increments, you might want to look elsewhere. Read more
