I bought the Kiss brand because it has both a petite and a short length that really fit my nail beds perfectly. I tried the red nails first because the color is gorgeous. I put one on as a trial nail on each hand to gain a bit of experience. I wasn't completely thrilled with the bond from just using the included jelly tabs and observed a few areas where I figured they would lift from not adhering perfectly on the nail up near the top. When I finished putting the rest on I added a drop of glue to my nail near the top and in the center of the jelly tab, and it made a big difference. The two test nails I applied without glue lifted after a few days and they annoyed me. I stuck them back down with some glue. Putting them on wasn't difficult, but it was a bit awkward until I got into a groove. They are delicate, but they held up well. They filed nicely and I highly recommend that because it makes them look very natural. I ended up adding a gel topcoat (non gel topcoat works too) a few hours after I put them on because a few of the nail surfaces showed dull spots where alcohol based products may have briefly made contact. Adding the topcoat gave them the protective finish they needed in order to allow me to go about my normal routines without constantly looking to see if the surface was being impacted by my activities. 5/13/22 - The red nails lasted seven days without any issues. I took them off because I wanted to use a new color. I gently loosened around the cuticle area with a small wooden cuticle stick and then I soaked my nails in some warmed mineral oil for a couple of minutes. That released most of the glue and I was able to easily get the cuticle stick under the nails and gently lift them while moving the stick from side to side. The nails came off in one piece. I used a little acetone to get the last of the glue off my nails. Update 7/15/22: I added two pictures of Corally Crazy (striped shirt background) from the same Kiss Impress line. I wanted to review them separately but Amazon doesn't allow it because it's all considered the same purchase 🤷🏻♀️ I used some glue again with the nails. I wore them for 10 days this time and then I removed them. I love these nails. They flatter my hands and they are easy to apply and file. After applying a few sets you really get the hang of it. I also separated the nails by size to make it faster. I attached a picture of a handy little case (it comes in a six pack) that I bought on Amazon. I have several so I can keep all my nails sorted by size and color family. It's so convenient if you are a press on nail nut like me! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ So Happy I Made the Switch! After years of expensive salon visits and the damage they caused to my natural nails, I decided to try Kiss Impress nails—and I’m so glad I did. The glue tabs make application incredibly easy, and as long as you give them time to fully set, they last at least two weeks with no issues. By the third week, a nail may start to feel slightly loose, but it doesn’t suddenly pop off like other press-on nails I’ve tried. They still stay in place and look great. I get compliments all the time, and best of all, my natural nails are so much healthier now. These have completely replaced salon manicures for me. I’m a retired dental hygienist, turned flight attendant. I hate the cost and time with salon visits. Obviously I’m very hard on my nails, these are well worth the money. Look better and longer lasting than polish. Easy to remove, if bails are peppered properly they can last 2 weeks. My nails are much healthier than with gel or acrylic and I can take a much needed break from nail maintenance when I want. Read more
I’ve bought these twice as a way to give my nails a break from harsh chemicals because my nails are stubs at this point. The quick review is: BUY THEM. Here are some pros and cons. Pros: -adhesive is on tight but you can force it to move a bit so as the nail grows I can push the fake nail farther down without taking it off -nails don’t come off the way glued on ones do -no polish chipping -no prep required Cons: -adhesive runs up the entire length of the nail which means lots of lint gets stuck to it and no amount of rubbing alcohol, water, or scrubbing seems to stop that -the adhesive is REALLY on there and it’s tough to remove from my real nails. I’d rather have this issue than not enough adhesive. -not enough sizes or enough of the right size. I have larger nails and I like the short press ons. It’s hard to get enough of the right size in one pack. -they do get my hair caught on them Even with all the cons, I buy them back to back when I want my nails done and my real nails to grow without harsh chemicals. I really had low expectations, but so far these have worked out well. I have only been wearing them since yesterday, but I lead a busy life. Dealing with dogs and children so I constantly need to use my hands. The adhesive is strong. I even filed them quite a bit and they did not budge. They were a bit longer for my taste, but I’m very conservative in nail taste. I just wanted to have pretty nails and these are a great solution. They look great and are well made. I have tried many press on nails and kiss are by far the best. They have a good shape to them, I like short so have to be careful to make sure I order short. I use nail glue with the adhesive on nail and they last for a month with no breakage. my nails start to grow out but you can't really tell. Read more
Beautiful on, but the sizing on these seem smaller than the other KISS nails I’ve bought before. This made them fall off much more quickly. For this reason, rating 3 because only got one short use out of them. Read more
