I like its metal construction and the look of the product. The renters in my beach house lost my original drain stop so I purchased this one. It fits perfect and works great. Many of the aftermarket strainers double as a stopper so you can fill up the sink. I have no idea why you would want that feature. This one does not and I’m thankful I found it because I did not want the other version. Unit works great most of the time. If food gets stuck in the air holes the water doesn’t drain. Biggest issue is that I bought the black model to match my sink and the color is just a coating over the stainless and after just about three months the black coating is peeling off. Read more
