I am not sure if my family had a frat party with strainer or what, but I came home and it was coming apart at the seams. I use it frequently. I didn't feel like pulling on another pair of pants to hit the store so figured I would order it online and have it on my doorstep by the time I got off work. That part played out well. It is a nice weight, nice looking, works well but it is shallow. In my old one, I could throw in 3 cups of rice and rinse them off with room to spare. 2 cups was a challenge in this one. Read more

This has held up well and is still going strong. I have used it for a variety of scenarios and it is just an all around fantastic strainer. If and when this one breaks, I'll buy this again without a second thought. Spend a little more and get a quality product from a reliable company that will last. It doesn't feel cheap or flimsy and I can always get a firm grip on this strainer. My go to for rinsing 1 or 2 cups of rice. Coffee filters have a good fit for additional filtering too. This is a very good strainer. It has very tiny holes in the mesh, so you can strain anything in it. I love that it's larger than the tiny ones I've owned in the past. It's large enough to strain a fairly large amount of pasta (like a package of Kraft Macaroni & Cheese). It's very sturdy and goes through the dishwasher beautifully. Read more
