Gentle on Cookware and Blends Well
I appreciate that I can use it in my pans without worrying about scratching them, and I really like how lightweight it is. So far, it blends well and is fairly easy to clean. I do wish it came with a cover for the base to keep it clean during storage (Removed 1 star for this). I’ve only used it twice so far, so time will tell how well the blades hold up. Read more

Wow! Powerful!
I owned a Cuisinart immersion blender 20 years ago and it was terrible--it only seemed to blend anything that was directly below it. In other words, it wouldn't pull much of anything up the bottom and out the sides. This KitchenAid is the opposite--it's very powerful! I make a lentil soup that requires part of the soup to be blended separately as a thickener. Plunging this blender into the pot only took maybe three seconds to puree part of the soup! With my next batch, I chose to remove part of the soup to blend it separately, and it again worked really quickly. However, thankfully this is a variable-speed blender, as I had to baby it to keep the soup from flying out of the large measuring cup! 😁 I'm very impressed with this blender! Read more
