This slicer is great. It is very sharp and does a great job. I have used it with several different types of cheese. I have also used it to slice some veggies. It does a good job on firm veggies but not so much on softer ones like tomatoes and some fruits. All in all, a very good slicer. Read more

We buy blocks of cheese then slice and shred it for our own use. This way we can try more kinds of cheese for a cheaper price and better quality. This slicer doe a good job on hard cheese and gives you a nice slice of how thick you want. From very thin like store bought to a good thick slice for your grilled burgers. Downside is it doesn't work very well for soft cheese. It will smash it down and give you not a very nice slice. So.... recommended for hard cheese not for soft. Read more

I use this handy device for more than cheese! Works great on salami rolls too! Cuts cheese so fast and easy! Hard cheese works the best but if I have soft cheese I just throw it in the freezer for a few minutes and it slices much easier. Easy cleanup too! I can cut so much and my hands never hurt like they would have with a knife. I would say it needs an improvement after you have cut the cheese, I am constantly moving the cut pile out of the way. I found if I put the slicer on the edge of a thick cutting board it helps! Still better than using a knife. All the slices are uniform if you use the guide. This is a great gadget. It’s not huge so you can store it away easily. It cuts, hard cheese, soft cheese, small vegetables, sausage, and more. It has a knob on the side so you can adjust the thickness of what you are cutting. It looks like a paper cutter, but it really works very well. Read more

Nice cutter, but is not suitable for most things. Items that are thick cannot be used on this cutter. It is also not suitable for soft cheeses. On the positive side, it has a guide to hold the objects in place and it washes easily. Read more
