This is hands down the best HMD I've tried to date. I have used two different kinds in the past and they worked, but were a nightmare to clean. I ordered the colorful one for my black and white hookah set and it was great i LOVED the way it looked. It has some weight to it , i wouldn't recommend using with a cheap silicone bowl that falls over easily when you go to set everything up. It never lost its color with heat, it was highly effective in the way it got the heat from the coals to the shisha without the burning the shisha up too fast. Anyone who is a regular hookah smoker knows when you sit coals on top of foil that basically sits right on the shisha- just burns it to a crisp too fast and you're smoking trash at that point lol. I read someone else's review about heating it up while heating the coals so i did just that which makes for a much better experience especially when using coconut coals. I only used two coconut coals -I smoked a good 2 hours and my shisha was still good . Only had a few burned pieces. This device was pretty easy to clean too. I only wish it came with a lid to control air flow for smoking outside around a fire pit in the fall or winter . Read more

This is nice, seems very good material, heavy, well made and beautiful but takes 200 years to really heat up that shisha flavor, after it does then it takes less then a few minutes to cool back down. Kind of ruined my session. I tried with different bowls as I have a few, I tried with two different charcoals..nope. It was always the same course of events. This is my first hmd I’ve ever used, getting the hang of how to use it. Found if you heat it up with the coals it works way better. The piece is beautiful by it self resembling a clock, a perfect touch. Strong product very strong. The color doesn’t vanish with heat either. You will need to buy a hard bristle brush to clean the burnt sisha off or soak it in hot water and use a scrubber. Read more
