I purchased the smaller sized water bottle. This bottle not only looks nice but can be placed in the dishwasher to ensure it’s really clean between uses. I love the quick open button and that the bottle can be easily locked and unlocked to prevent spilling. The handle is an added bonus as it frees up your hands from having to carry a bottle. The bottle is great! The lid IS in fact leak proof! I can say also that it is durable as I dropped it twice on concrete and it didn't care at all. The built in mouth piece makes it easy to drink without spilling. The whole thing comes apart enough that you can clean it with minimal hassle. The plastic body is smooth but not slippery. The media could not be loaded. I got this to trick my husband into stealing it lol. He is always taking my cups in general, and regularly using my water bottle as well when he goes to the gym, and I keep telling him to just get a water bottle and he says he just uses the fountain. Then magically why does my cup go missing? lol Anyway so I got this because the color is awesome. It's great for me because it matches my floral gym attire, but it also looks masculine enough for him since he's got a lot of military looking gear as well for hiking and things so he could use this both at the gym and for his camping trips. I also really like it because it has the measuring lines on the side, so even though it's not fully transparent, it's kind of a frosted finish, it's still very clearly visible when there's liquid inside where it's at along the line so it's nice to keep track of that way for either mixing with an electrolyte mix, or just making sure you have your daily amount of water in. The strap is really nice and well attached so it feels firm and doesn't feel like it's going to snap, it holds the full bottle with water in it without any issues when I hang it from there. The lid securely screws on and haven't had any leaking issues, I just throw it in my gym bag so I know it's leaning all over the place and hasn't dripped once yet. The lid itself also has a flip function that also locks which is great so that way you don't accidentally grab it and push the button which would then open it inside your purse or upside down or however angle it is in your gym locker or gym bag. That would be disastrous. So I like that added lock feature. Obviously when I just have it at home sitting on the nightstand by the bed, then I don't engage that locking feature, but it's great for taking it on the go and avoiding spills. The bottle material itself feels sturdy, but light enough that it doesn't add a lot of weight. I think it's just the right size because it still fits in standard cup holders in our truck, UTV, and in the pouches on the sides of both of our gym bags. I tested all the different ways, so that way once I got it, I knew it would work for my setup or my husband set up easily and be interchangeable. And of course I was right, the second he saw it, he stole it from me. So we are going to be passing it back and forth here and very happy with it and think it's a great value.
