I am very impressed with this Klein Tools Fastbit Tru-Grip Screwdriver. Klein has been making a lot of new products lately and they really knocked it out of the park with this screw driver. I have been perfecting ball grip screwdrivers lately. This one is me new favorite. Excellent quality built very well and should last a long time. Very easy to use and will use any 1/4 inch shank bit as long as it’s over an inch long which makes it very functional and useful for a lot of different applications. I would say the length of the screw driver is good. Maybe a little longer than other ball grips but you can make it longer or shorter with different bits you put in it. The collet locks the bit in place very well and makes it solid like a fixed screw driver. Read more

The Klein Tools 32960A Fastbit Tru-Grip Screwdriver is a solid, pro-grade tool that delivers great comfort, torque, and versatility for everyday use. The ball-style Tru-Grip handle feels excellent in the hand and makes repetitive fastening jobs easier, while the quick-release collar allows fast bit changes between Phillips and slotted tips or any ¼-inch hex bits longer than 1.5 inches. Build quality is top-notch, with a sturdy carbon-steel shaft and durable grip that feels like it will last for years. It’s not insulated or ratcheting, so it’s best suited for general work rather than live electrical tasks, but for installers, electricians, or anyone doing frequent hardware or panel work, it’s a comfortable, reliable screwdriver that quickly becomes a go-to in the tool bag. I like it. It holds lots of different bits with very little play. The quick insert works great and the release mechanism is nice and smooth. The bit that comes with it is also good quality. Can’t beat it for the price. If you have never tried a ball handle screwdriver, this one is definitely worth a try. Read more

Another good product from klein. I bought one and ended up getting one as a gift. I like and use both. Keep one in my tool bag and carry one on my person. Very handy. Nice that it can be used with most bits. Very nice. I like the ball grips. Read more

Excellent, no wobble, very solid connection. Very comfortable to use. The only problem is that sometimes the shank gets stuck into the handle if you press and tight a bit very strong. I would recommend this screwdriver just for light use. Read more

Permit me to offer a considered judgment on the matter of screwdrivers—specifically the Klein Tools 32960A Fastbit Tru-Grip Screwdriver, adorned with its ball-style handle and a most obliging quick-release collar. I must state, in the clearest and most direct terms, that the Klein 32960A is not merely a screwdriver—it is an instrument of civilization. To grasp its ball-style handle is to feel, at once, the solid assurance of engineering and the refined elegance of true power. Its quick-release collar, operating with untroubled smoothness, recalls less a mere mechanical feature than the quiet dignity of a well-oiled club door opened by a bowing doorman. Indeed, when I first held the Klein, I felt less a tradesman and more a Titan of Industry—prepared to vanquish stubborn screws with a force not unlike the U.S. Cavalry thundering forth in a hard charge! Now, it is whispered in certain construction sites (those smoky dens of questionable hygiene, where men of low repute endlessly debate the relative merits of ratcheting mechanisms over swigs of moonshine) that the Klein Tools 32960A is but a copy of its well-regarded rival, the Vessel Ball Grip screwdriver. I have no information to confirm or deny whether both of these fine implements may, in fact, spring forth from the very same Nipponese forge—the same forge, perhaps, that also spawned to life the abominable “Godzilla, King of the Monsters.” Who can say? The Vessel, to be sure, is a respectable fellow—dependable, hardworking, the sort of chap one might trust to haul supplies or hold an umbrella in a squall while one repairs a CAT 3456. But the Klein is a different sort of friend entirely. The Klein 32960A is positively magisterial in its comportment. Its quick-release collar, I assure you, operates with the buttery smoothness of a Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow door latch. The ball handle, too, feels not merely like a ball, but rather the very orb of American dominion over recalcitrant fasteners. The Vessel, bless its heart (and I do mean that in the Southern sense), is a trusty workhorse. But by comparison, the Klein is a true Kentucky thoroughbred—sleek, proud, robust, and possessed of that ineffable "je ne sais quoi" which separates the gentleman from the common swain. In conclusion—without fear of contradiction from sensible men—while the Vessel Ball Grip is a tool, the Klein Tools 32960A is an experience. Perhaps we may one day discover that both hail from the same production line in the Land of the Rising Sun. That, to me, is inconsequential. For I unequivocally conclude that the Klein 32960A is the finer instrument, and I shall not hesitate to consign my Vessel to honorable retirement in the bottom drawer of my toolbox. The verdict is clear: Klein reigns supreme! Read more
