I've been using Klein tools for over 50 years. Read more
So... definitely my go to tool bag. I have one in each size. The 18” with pockets is my every day tool bag. Fits all my needed tools and pouch. The natural canvas seems to be thicker and stronger than the black canvas model. Or at least it’s not as floppy? I use the black canvas for baseball equipment now. I’m still using my original 14” without pockets from trade school in 1999 as a runner. Definitely a quality no thrills affordable tool bag. Veto is great. I tried a few but I always go back to my Klein canvas bags. From 12” to 24”, with or without pockets they do exactly what I need them to do. Read more

This bag is very cute and useful. I use it when I work on film sets to carry all my gear and tools. As an AC it works out nicely for me. I am a 5’2” woman and for anyone concern it doesn’t look too large on me when I carry it. Still big but not ridiculous looking. Pros: It’s fairly large, durable and simple, comes with a nice carrying strap. Functional, has some varied sized pockets on the inside. Cons: Not waterproof, doesn’t close completely all the way, on the opening there are metal bits where the canvas was attached that can cut your hand (I recommend some hot glue over it, solves the problem pretty quick). Since it’s decievingly large it can get heavy pretty fast and the strap I think could be improved to add my comfort when carrying around heavy tools. Edit: I stopped using this for work and mainly use it to hold my tools in my apartment but it’s still going strong and I love it Read more
My review and purchase of the Klein Tools 5102-18SP tool bag may seem odd to some. My use is definitely an unconventional use. I'm a delivery driver, I have two overnight routes per week. Food on the road is hit or miss, fast food is NOT a good choice and I prefer not to "waste time" trying to find an actual restaurant along my routes. I prefer to bring food from home. It's obviously more healthy and definitely cheaper. I purchased a Yeti knockoff cooler ( $200 cheaper and works just as well) 44 qt. I would pack my food in travel bowls , load them into cheap canvas " shopping bag" type tote bags. They seem to fit ok in the cooler, but only seemed to last a few weeks before the stitching would give up. I got tired of these canvas tote bags failing so I thought.....why not a Klein Tools tool bag? I can pack my lunches for the two days, dinner for the overnight and breakfast items for the second day. I also pack drinks. Usually 2 20 oz sparkling water cans, a can of Mt Dew Quick Start, 2 16 oz bottles of Vernors Ginger Ale. A small container with a variety of tea bags, a zip lock with salt/pepper/ flatware and a jug of honey. I know....TMI? Well, just letting you know what will fit into this particular bag. Loaded up, it fits perfectly into the 44 qt cooler. I simply grab the Klein Tools bag out of the cooler and carry it into the hotel room. My per diem is supposed to cover my room and dinner for the first day. Bringing food from home, I can pocket the per diem not used for the room. Within a month, the cooler paid for itself by NOT buying food on the road. The Klein Tools bag paid for itself as well, in just a couple of weeks. My use is obvious not the normal use for a Klein Tools tool bag, at least not the one I use for the cooler. My other Klein Tools bags carry, well tools... I hope this long review helps you decide on this bag. It's worth every penny. Read more
bought as Used, Very Good from Amazon Warehouse. it arrived in Unused condition in plastic bag @ $20-30 saving. excellent thought out tool bag. the interior pouches are puffed out NOT flat sewn, so you can actually put stuff in them. also it appears that individual pouch seams are separately sewn and the stitching MAY be removed in order to widen an individual pouch. both pouch assemblies, one on each side, are attached @ top of bag and hang loosely along insides. it's made from moderate wt. canvas w/ hide from the nauga along the lower and bottom. the adjustable top nonslip padded strap is 2" med. wt. tight woven nylon w/ heavy gage steel snaps / loops. Leather attachments are 1/8" thick. when loaded, the minimal weight of the bag will be insignificant compared to its load. NOT recommended for hauling makeup. Read more
I debated this for a while. The 16 is good for packing the whole workshop to the site. Heavy, but heavy duty. I sprayed with breathable tent waterproofer and don't regret it. You should too. Keeps it clean af. Read more
