Sooo happy with the fit of these boots. I have 17' calves, at my slimmest my calves are 15, so I have chunky legs and can't find nice boots that don't flag that I have chunky legs. I took a chance on this order and they do not have ANY room for jeans or leggings at this point, but I was able to put them on bare legged, with tights and with compression socks. DON'T buy if you calves are more than 17" as I really have to squeeze in, but I love them so I will absolutely buy in other colors. I also went up half a shoe size to have room for my high instep. I love these knee high platform boots by TEAIEUI. They are very chunky and block shaped which is the style that I’m currently into. They slip on and off easily and the foot size is true to size. They’re very comfortable and have great arch support. They’re made from high quality faux leather and can be adjusted and tightened to fit depending on the size of your legs and feet. These boots are relatively true to the online photos and size (I ordered my regular size 91/2 and they fit, with my big toe right at the tip of the front of the boot), they are also pretty comfortable, but I suggest wearing them with a thicker sock, if you have a narrower foot like mine, because they are on the wider side, which kinda gives them a bulky look, which also in turn, magnifies the size of your feet, which for me is the main downside, and the reason I gave a 4 star instead of a 5 star rating. Otherwise the overall quality is relatively good, decent, but not like that of a upscale brand. The zippers work, but I did have to tug a little before zipping them all the way up, but not a real issue. I ordered these boots for my teen daughter. Wasn’t sure she would like them but turns out she loves them. She loves that they make her taller. The platform gives her about a 2 inch boost in height. Since my daughter has grown to be the same size foot as me now, I tried these on to see if they would fit my calfs. I have thick calves and have always had a problem finding knee high boots that accommodate thicker calves - even when they say they’re going to. To my surprise I was able to zip these boots up around my calves. It took a little wiggling, but not much. There’s no way I would be able to wear tall socks, but could probably get away with ankle cuff socks. Something secure enough to not slip down under my heel when I walk. And tights would definitely work. But honestly, I won’t be wearing these boots. This is more of my daughters fashion now. On her slender legs there is plenty of room for any thickness of tall socks.
