This skirt is GREAT for taller girls. I'm only 5'8 but finding a floor length skirt is daunting. The length was perfect for me while sitting properly at my waist, but if I were taller it still would have worked by wearing it lower. Oh, and the pockets are FABULOUS! I was able to put so many things in them while at an event without it being noticeable. Overall I would say that the quality of the skirt is excellent. I was able to get the blue and the red at a clearance price by ordering an XS. Using the sizing chart listed I knew that it would be slightly smaller than I needed. I am a 26 waist and the small size measurement would be my normal size for this brand. I believe the skirt sizing to be accurate to what is listed online. This skirt is also a true maxi skirt on me, coming to just right below my ankles with it worn up high and I am 5' 7 &1/2. The pockets are perfect and you can't tell they are there from the cut of the skirt. This is easy to pair with crop tops and not reveal any midriff since you can adjust where you want the top band to sit. I like that this will look good with long sleeves or t-shirts, and tank tops. I wore the red one with a large bronze chain belt over the wider band and it looked great. So many style options with this skirt. The elastic in the back looks very nice but it doesn't stretch to far out. I'm not sure I'd purchase at full price but the fabric and pocket detail and pleating are all done very well in my opinion. For the money, I am severely disappointed in this dress. And in the false advertising of the product. It not only clearly labels the skirt as having pockets, but the pictures and video also show the skirt as having pockets. The skirt came without pockets. Also it is labeled as having a zipper closure, but it is simply an elastic waist. It's also way less full then it looks and rather then being equally gathered all the way around, it is gathered in the back and then has weird pleats in the front. It looks strange, is unflattering, and for almost $50 I would expect quality fabric, pockets, and a lining. DON'T buy. Read more

This is a beautiful skirt! It fits really well and the fabric is really nice! (Not too thin or too thick and not see-through!) The drape at the front flows right over my tummy and is very becoming, and there are just the right amount of gathers in the back to flow smoothly over my hips. I like the wide elastic at the waist, very comfortable! I am sad to be returning this skirt, but this purple color doesn’t work for what I need the skirt for. My computer screen made it look like a dark purple (which I wanted!) but this is a red-plum colored purple. Although it is a beautiful color, I need a dark purple color for my family event. I love the fit of this skirt and felt beautiful when I tried it on! I plan to buy it in a different color for a future occasion! I recommend it for a fancy event, like a wedding, cruise, prom, etc. I was having trouble deciding which size to order, so maybe this will help some of you. I ordered a MEDIUM and it fit perfectly, not too loose or too tight. My waist is 30”, my hips 38”.
