Just a few scratches
I got a new "feral" dog who chews things when she is nervous. I gave her blue puppy Kongs when I got her about six weeks ago and she chewed them up while I was at work. So the next day we moved to the red Kong and she also chewed that up. I got her the black Kong and she has been working on carrying that around for about four weeks. It has scratches but no chunks missing. She has chewed up most rubber dogs toys, the Cuz are all missing their feet. I wish there was a smaller Kong bone for my small dog, she would really like that too. Read more
Nice and durable
We used to get the red kongs forever, but our boxer would still tear the rubber along the edges of the openings and we'd find little red specks everywhere (including her bowel movements!). Luckily they came out with these black ones that are much more durable and she is not able to tear them. Read more

Size is misstated
I ordered the "medium" size for my 70 pound dog. I wanted something on the smaller size for a quick, supervised snack. The medium is REALLY small--about 2.5" wide and 3" tall. I can't imagine what kind of thimble-sized dog would the Small Kong would be for! 3 stars is mostly to warn shoppers to check the dimensions first. Otherwise, the product is a good one. Read more
