This is a good, basic suitcase. With airlines clamping down on carry-ons and personal items, having good luggage is a necessity. All the zippers glide easily and stay in place when closed. The exterior feels substantial and standard for budget friendly luggage. There is just one fixed handle on the top and it is made of a hard plastic. It has a spring that allows it to lie flat and then have some give to grab with your hand. The expandable handle has three locking heights. It glides easily and has a little bit of wiggle but firm overall. The wheels glide smoothly. The expander feature is helpful but be aware that if it does not fit in one of those size guides at the check-in counter, you may have to check it. The case is a clam shell design with one covered zippered side and the other side open. I use packing cubes when traveling and they fit well in the suitcase. Overall, this is a good carry-on. One thing to be aware of is that nowhere in the product description is the lock designated as TSA Approved. If you have to check this bag and they cannot open it, they will break your lock to get into the suitcase. Read more

I’m really impressed with the suitcase. It is a great size, big enough for two people for a seven day trip, I would say. There’s a couple things I look for in a suitcase. I prefer hard sided over soft sided, personal preference, but also related to weight and overall stability. I love having an expandable suitcase so you can bring back all those extra goodies on your trip. It’s gotta have great wheels for rolling long distances. It also has to be really well balanced, so it stands easily on its own. This bag meets all these criteria. I think it looks terrific, very upscale. The wheels are nice and smooth and sturdy. The zippers are substantial and I really appreciate the ability to expand the suitcase. The detail of little feet on the one side is really nice, to keep the pretty cream color clean if you do need to set it down on its side. Inside is roomie, with a nice big mesh pocket, and a latch and strap inside to keep everything in place. The handle glides up and down very easily. While I wish the handles were rubberized all around, these are hard plastic on top, but rubberized underneath for hand comfort. All in all, this is a very sturdy, attractive suitcase. The Kono Expandable Carry-on Luggage is a beautiful and well-crafted suitcase. The outer shell is a hard shell, and there is a zipper lock. I have not been able to figure out the instructions, but I'm sure it's not as hard as I'm making it out to be. The handle is smooth and easy to move up and down. Although this is a carry-on suitcase, there is sooo much space on the inside of it. There's storage ability on both sides. The liner is very nice and neat. Unlike other suitcases I've used in the past, this one keeps the liner closed and stitched to the shell of the suitcase, so your items/clothing are not sitting directly on the bars of the handle. When you unzip the left side of the suitcase, there's additional storage within the flap, but it can be covered with an additional pocket. Overall, this carry-on luggage is beautiful and very sturdy. The quality is very well constructed, and I would highly recommend this carry-on suitcase to anyone looking for a suitable, sturdy suitcase. Also, to add, this suitcase is well worth the price point. Whether I take a road trip or travel by air, I typically take a carry-on with me. For me, a smallish suitcase is ideal for stashing a couple days of clothing, cosmetics, shoes, and occasionally my laptop as well. This 22-incher has some nice features, at an affordable price ($69.99 in January 2026). The luggage is dark blue with brown accents and handles. The semi-rigid material has a textured surface and rounded corners. It has a TSA-approved combination lock to secure the contents. The interior is lined and has a criss-cross elastic strap on one side and a zip-close panel on the other to separate your things. The telescopic handle has four stops to accommodate my height and allow me to stack a small bag with a luggage strap. There’s also a retractable handle-grip on the top to grab-and-go. The wheels glide smoothly and easily, with 360-degree rotation. The best feature of this carry-on is that it expands a few extra inches in depth by opening a second zipper around the perimeter. I love this option, especially when I need to pack a jacket, sweater, or a few extra pieces of clothing. Overall, this is nice piece of luggage with a few extras to make traveling a breeze! Read more
