Wow, this has made way more difference in my aiming ability than all the curves offered by the PS5 $200 dollar controller joystick curves. The issue with PS5 curves is that do not allow upper side cut off for aim speed. On precision settings I get the low speed moves I want and then it takes off like crazy at end of stroke. With these dampeners it keeps me from easily hitting end of stroke...I can hit it if I want, but I have to use more pressure. I am so happy to finally have better aim control!!! I can not be happier with such a cheap improvement! I was about ready to try to design my own controller. Funny how something so simple can save the day. I am using the medium ones now....but might try the harder ones soon. Might be even more improvement. Read more

These rings definitely help with the resistance. Don’t get me wrong you won’t be elite just from buying these, some players are just too unreal aka hackers. But these definitely help. My only small small complaint. For the Xbox controller I need to double them up where the ps5 it only needs one. But they still get s 5 star. I’ve bought them twice and I’ll continue to. 👍🏼 I have read lower reviews and I don’t think they’re lying in them. I just think they felt they were going to be a pro at aiming by ordering these. I think I read somewhere that it helps your KD ratio by 50% well I was only .28 on the new war zone now I’m over 1.00 so you’re not going buy these and become 12/1 KD. They could be a little more durable. But for me they did what they said. Hope this helps. Read more

Help with aim, but definitely beware while putting them on or taking them off. Very fragile. Read more

I recently tried the KontrolFreek Precision Rings, and they completely changed my gaming experience! They fit perfectly on my controllers (PS4 and PS5) and provide amazing support for precise thumb movement. The textured design gives excellent grip without feeling uncomfortable during long sessions. I noticed an immediate improvement in aiming and control, especially in fast-paced shooters. The colors (black/purple/green) also look really cool and add a nice personalized touch to my setup. Setup was simple, and they stay in place really well – no slipping even during intense gameplay. These rings are definitely worth it if you want better control and accuracy. Highly recommended for competitive and casual gamers alike! Read more

As someone who mostly uses keyboard and mouse for FPS games, I was looking for anything to help smooth out the messy input of a controller joystick. The good: They do work ok for aiming or driving. It adds a buffer zone for movement so you don't end up going too far beyond your intended spots when moving the stick. Some games have a movement acceleration if you push the sticks all the way, these will reduce your chances of accidentally hitting that point and zooming past the place you wanted. If you're a person who just isn't awesome at controlling sticks, these might help you. The not-so-good: Selecting weapons on Horizon uses the right stick and the selection won't register unless the stick is near the outermost edge. So you have to press extremely hard against the ring every time you switch weapon or ammo type to make the selection register. If you regularly need to press the stick to the outermost edges, it'll crush that foam and start wearing your rings down almost immediately which will lead to tearing or loss of resistance, meaning frequent replacements. The bad: Because the rings are a softer foam material, they may begin tearing as quickly as... one removal from your controller. The green foam, when stretching over the standard DS4 stick to remove it, began to rip on the outer edge. A couple more cycles of on/off would begin to develop a significant tear, especially when combined with the crushing down usage in Horizon. If you're not a very well-practiced controller user and the games you're playing don't *require* movement of the stick to the extreme edges and you have a second controller for any games where you don't want to have the rings on. They're great. They'll still wear down and need to be replaced eventually, but what can you expect of foam? If you are already pretty good at aiming on higher sensitivity, or your game has important functions requiring those outer edges, or if you have just the one controller and might take off and replace them as you change games. Any *one* of those things is a reason to not get them. Read more

These work well for MLB the show. I use the black ones because they provide the most resistance. They also are durable and do not break when putting them on and off. Read more

I’ve been using these for a couple years now. I can be heavy handed and these help with generally keeping my aim tighter. I like the feel and resistance they provide. They hold up longer than I figured they would, but do eventually either rip or kind of disintegrate over time. The biggest con is the price. Almost $11 is pretty insane for these. Read more
