I know this is supposed to be used as a water bottle to keep your drink cold however I purchased it to use as a 2nd cup of coffee for my hubby. I love that it has a screw top, I can fill it with hot coffee and he can stick it in his backpack till he is ready for it and not have to work that the top will slode back or pop off. This bottle keeps the coffee hot for quiet a few hours till he is ready for it. However the outside is always cool to the touch. We have used it to hold cold beverages as well and again the outside of the bottle remains unchanged. No matter if you put a hot hot beverage in it or a freezing cold one the outside of the bottle always feels the same. I like that this bottle comes with a strap attached. It makes this bottle more convenient to carry around. I ordered the stainless color because I like the look of the shiny polished metal. This bottle is a great buy. Very handy, lightweight colorful containers that maintain heat or cold for a few hours. I have used these everyday for 6 months and durability has not been an issue. I have never put hot liquids in my Koodees, I only use cold water. I drink after a long run or a hot day outdoors. The seal has functioned without failure and the value for the price is excellent. 17 oz, blue. While staying indoors, the bottle kept the water "fridge" cold for about 6 hours, reamains nicely cold for about 8 hours and is still feeling fresh after 12 hours (not warm but not quite cold either, drinkable I would say). I bought 2 bottles on sale, so they were a good buy, but I wouldn't pay more than 10 dollars, after trying them. The colors look solid, and don't feel like it will get chipped or fade easily. Now, the handle or holding ring it is a nightmare to remove. Just cut the fabric part and leave the plastic handle, you will ruin the paint and is not worth the trouble. I cut the plastic part on one of my bottles, and chipped some of the color, and regreted it right away. Mine do not leak, but I make sure the cap doesn't looses the rubber washer while cleaning it. All caps leak without the rubber washer. And considering the size, it is a hard to clean as any other bottle this size. I mean, this shape and size is exactly the same across all brands, I literally used a cap from an old bottle without realizing. So I can't help but cringe a little when reading comments about how difficult is to clean them... common. Read more

Great quality, I'm so impressed with this water bottle -- I plan on buying several for holiday gifts. The quality is excellent, great color selection, lightweight -- yet doesn't sacrifice quality -- I will buy individual bottles for gifts -- the bonus is the carrying strap -- especially while walking. Just a a hook to it to snap on to something. Most bottles don't have the carrying strap -- and it's durable. As for traveling, again, being lightweight, it doesn't weigh down my backpack like my older one. Perfect size too! Highly recommend. Read more

Many are looking for the 40oz cups these days, but that does always work for travel. The smaller refillable water bottle fits easily in my car cup holder as well as the side pocket on my backpack I take when traveling. The top seals completely and doesn’t leak. This bottle is sturdy, which I like. Seals very well with the silicone ring on the cap. It has a seam running down the inside of the bottle but is finished smooth on the outside. You can only tell there is a seam if you take a light and examine the inside, it is made very well. I also love that it has a handle on the cap- and it’s sturdier than I originally thought it would be! I love that it’s well made. Also, It does not have a metallic taste like some bottles I have do. It has a faint metal smell, but not overly so. The circumference is a tiny bit larger than a soda can. It’s a little large for my car cup holder but since the seal is great in the cap - I just set it on the seat, so I don’t find it to be a big deal. Read more
