I've purchased many short UGG boots. These are the most comfortable ones. I wear size 9. My first pair of these shoes were size 9 1/2. They were okay with thin peds. More gray than sand or tan colored. Shaft is huge - i look like a child in Mama's boots! Good if you have good sized ankles and calves, but bad if you are just normal or slim. Also, I have over 50 pairs of size 7 shoes in my closet. These size 7 are too big for me. I could use a 6 1/2 or maybe even a 6. If I liked the color better, I'd try again with a smaller size. I love the look of the bootie in the picture. It looks taller and slimmer in the front than what it really looks like when you put it on. I felt more frumpy in this boot. This is my second pair. Bought them in black first and absolutely lived in them. Bought the ochre colour to wear with short/long feminine dresses and skirts for more of a summer look.
