I am super excited about my Kudu horn! It looks sooo good! It took a few minutes for me to get a decent sound out, but on day 2 you would've thought I'd been blowing this thing for months! It came packaged nicely. It does have an animal smell after playing it, which is understandable and bearable. It is keratin from an animal, like a super think hollowed out animal fingernail. I smelled nothing upon it's arrival, though. I have not cleaned it out yet, but the instructions seem pretty straightforward. I play the flute so I'm used to instrument maintenance. I currently have the Kudu horn sitting on top of my wardrobe closet so I definitely need a rack to hang this on my wall. Overall, super cool. I can't wait to take this to a praise and worship gathering! Read more

Very nice looking shofar. Definitely stinks. From what I read, they all do. The only problem is that I ordered a Large and I received a Medium.
