These pads are amazing. I felt less itchy, more comfortable, and like I had less odor. Definitely try these. Read more
It's been ages since I've used a pad. A while back, I tried out some period panties and really liked them, which made me a little curious about the current state of pads. I've been using tampons since I was a teenager, and now I'm approaching menopause. Surely improvements were made since I was younger, right? Here's my experience: Yes, the pads of today blow the old pads out of the water. Sure, these things are thicker than a panty liner, but compared to the old super absorbency pads, these pads by Kotex are hardly noticeable when you're wearing them. There's very little bulk, so you don't feel like you've got a diaper on. The pads are long and contoured to fit the shape of your underpants, and the adhesive doesn't let go, even if you're active. The thing I appreciated most about these pads is how quickly they absorbed fluid. Nothing felt wet or uncomfortable, and I had no leaks. They did a good job with odor, too. I ended up using these overnight a couple of times as well, and they did a great job. One of the main problems back in the day was that trying to use a pad overnight always ended up with the pad wadded up, but again, because this pad is relatively thin and fits in underwear so well, it wasn't a problem. Am I a pad convert? Eh, probably not full-time, but I'm really glad to have these on hand and will, no doubt, continue to use them. Read more
First, I like these pads and would consider purchasing in the future. I included 2 pictures of the pad next to a fire stick for size reference. Pros: - I like the size of them. They fit well and didn't bunch. The wings were perfect. I sometimes have issues with other brands where they make the wings too big. - No odors were noted (yay!) - They held more that I would expect for a level one pad. These are definitely bigger and more absorbent then a liner style- but they are meeting the need on a different day of the cycle. Cons: - They absorb somewhat quickly but not as fast as a foam pad. The 'gravity core' does seem to help to fill the pad before requiring it to be changed. - I dislike the blue dye on the pad. This is touching your most intimate area and it shouldn't have unnecessary chemicals in it. I'm sure this is to showcase the pH Proactive System, but I would prefer it to be removed. This is a personal preference, I didn't experience any issues from it. Read more

I am so impressed with these Kotex BioCare Ultra Thin Pads with Wings. I've been a loyal purchaser of the other big name brand for decades, but this may be enough to make a switch. These are so soft, and absolutely do not smell like anything. They are a very generous size, with very good coverage. And, let's be honest, the price is better. In full disclosure, I purchased these for my teenage daughter. I had a hysterectomy a couple years back, and it was the best decision I've ever made. She, however, obviously still has need of products such as this. I wore one for a day just to review it, and I found it way more comfortable than the "other" brand that I used for years. There is none of that crinkle sound, and it doesn't feel like wearing a diaper. I am very impressed. I can't really speak for absorbancy, though. I did ask my daughter how she feels about the switch. She gave me the patented Teenager Look and said, "Fine." The box is slowly getting emptier, though, with her normal brand beside it. That's pretty much a glowing review, so I think we'll be making a switch. Read more

These pads are thin but still absorb well for the beginning of my menstrual cycle or light flow days, as I typically have a heavier flow and was only able to try the regular Kotek. They stay in place well with the wings if wearing regular underwear. I like to wear women's boxers because they are comfier for me, and they do tend to shift if I don't change it out often enough, which I need to anyway and keeps me feeling fresh. They don't feel bulky at all. I also like that they’re unscented and they have PH control, so it helps with any odor. I like that they are very thin, so I can slip multiple into any thin pocket in my work bag or purse and they take little to no space. They are very inconspicuous, if you're one of those people that care about others seeing you pull one out. I am not. I personally have them in my classroom for both I and my students to use, so that they have access to more comfortable sanitary pads, and also know and try different pads because sometimes it takes exposure to find something that you feel comfortable in. Overall, they’re a good option for both odor control and to throw in your bags and forget they are there until you find yourself needing one. Read more
