The fit is true to size with a high-rise waistband that stays in place without rolling or digging in. I've purchased these shorts in a couple of different colors. I really like their stretchy fit and forgiving waistband. I machine wash them and hang to dry. They should last a long time with this washing regime. If I were to improve upon these I would like another pocket on the left side of the short. They have one pocket but I feel like I could always use more. The pocket is large enough to fit my iPhone 15 pro. I also used these to play tennis. The short legs are soft, stretchy spandex, but they do not provide a lot of support for holding something like tennis balls. I can fit one tennis ball on each side of the legs, but more than that and they fall out while running around the court. I have also had inconsistencies with the more flowy top portion of the shorts. Sometimes the overlay bunches up while walking. It's not uncomfortable, but it doesn't look very flattering when it happens. Two out of the four pairs that I order have not had this problem, but the other pairs do. Just make sure to try them on and wear walking around the house before settling. Read more

Great workout shorts. I have been wearing tennis skorts, as it is too hot at the gym (or outside) for leggings. I decided to try some shorts, and I like a short lining. I ordered 3 different shorts to try, and these were my favorite. I have ordered in four colors. They are a good length, the lining did not ride up at all (running and doing a step workout), and they are very lightweight. I am 5'3 and 130 lbs. I wear a small or medium depending on brands. If you run in these shorts and have your phone in the side pocket, it will bounce right out. The material is comfortable, but the waistband is a little bunched and saggy. You have to wear them kind of high rise to get the right feel. The back zipper pocket is convenient and holds my key and fob while running, but it does bounce around a lot in there. I bought one pair to have proper coverage while getting a tattoo on my thigh. I loved them so much I ended up buying five more pairs. I have pretty average size legs but a big mid section so an XXL is what works for me. The legs are a little big but I don't mind because even if they ride up while walking, the front overlay shorts stay down so it looks nice still. I'm only 5 ft tall and they land approximately 3 inches above my knees. They do shorten quite a bit when sitting down though. Also worth noting is that the waistband is not all soft/stretchy. Bought my first pair to wear to play pickleball, then my second, then my third, and now have at least 8 different pairs/colors. The most comfortable pair of shorts I have ever worn. Used to be a marathon runner, and wished I had these back then. Lightweight, easy to wash/dry, colors are great (except light pink- not really pink), 135 lbs and I wear a medium. Love the side pocket for my ChapStick, or the back pocket for keys, etc. Many ladies complimented me on these shorts, and the next time I saw them- they were wearing them! Love these shorts, and the stretchy short underneath the top layer! They are extremely comfortable, and the hidden pocket is great for storing your cell phone. I bought them in navy blue as well.
