Before use look up YouTube videos on how to prep and apply. If you don’t prep properly the tape won’t work properly. DONT touch the sticky part of the tape when applying it can make the tape less sticky. Don’t forget to rub the tape after applying. I think the main reason a lot of these reviews are negative is because they don’t prep and they don’t wait at least 3-5 days to remove it. This tape is meant to last a week. Fraying wasn’t really a problem for me. I had to experiment with keeping it on in the shower. The first thing I did to keep in on is I didn’t touch the tape. When I got out I took my towel and pat dried the tape until it was completely dry. That worked. Here’s what didn’t work it didn’t work when I touched it in the shower. This is the only tape I use for my knee. It stays put and doesn’t peel off easily. It’s very durable and strong adhesive. Although it’s pricey, it’s well worth it because you don’t need as much. I like the tan color more than the black, as the black sometimes shows through pants because of the o bright orange accents. Read more

Pros: it works! Cons: not at all waterproof I’m giving it 5 stars because it works. I have had plantar fasciitis in my left foot for 2+ years now. I have done everything I can think of to help it. Insoles, shoes, sleeping in a boot, other wraps and contraptions, ice, heat, stretches. You name it Ive done it. I’ve finally given up on trying to help it and quit looking for stuff for a year. Then, This tape randomly came across my FB and I decided to read the comments. I seen the raving reviews but was skeptical because every other thing I’ve purchased had just as good of reviews. I figured what’s another 15$ down the hole at this point. After the first initial taping it was miraculously better. I don’t know what sorcery this is but I’m so glad I gave it a shot! My pain is gone! I’ve had it a week and I haven’t stopped taping myself yet. I want to use it for a while in hopes it might correct the issue. The only downfall is that it is NOT waterproof or water resistant. I have to shower everyday, and the second I step in the shower it slides right off. That does make for easy peeling if you are ready for it to be off, because when it’s dry it sticks so well. It’s not great when you are wanting it on for a few days to not have to buy so much. I’ve done the prep- shaving, exfoliating, making sure the area is clean, even cleaned area with alcohol. Then once on I rub it real good. As long as I keep it’s dry It stays on perfectly fine for a few days. Some parts still stick okay when wet, but not enough to be able to salvage it and wear another day. I’ve tried wrapping my foot up to keep it dry but water still manages to get in and ultimately ruins the wrap. It's definitely a stronger, more supportive hold than the regular KT tape. It also sticks for way longer (if you try to take it off before it's ready to come off, you'll notice, trust me!). The only thing I dislike is that the edges fray easily. They actually come out of the box a little frayed already. So a little sloppy looking. Maybe I got a weird box? Works really well for support and pain relief. The tape stays on through workouts and showers if applied properly, and it feels durable. Easy to cut and apply, though make sure skin is clean and dry for best adhesion. Definitely helps with sore muscles and joints. Read more

I was recently prescribed to wear a ZIO XT heart monitoring device. it fell off on the second day of wearing it, as their adhesive just doesn’t work for me. I sweat a lot and while riding my elliptical machine it came off. I reapplied it several times, but it kept coming off. Normal surgical tape, even the waterproof brand, just wouldn’t work for more than 24 hours. And the device adhesive, nor the surgical tape, could stay on after showering, which I do twice a day as a plumber. I found this product on Amazon. I’m glad I did. It is extremely comfortable, and keeps the device on for several days. I can shower in it, and work up a real sweat, and the device will not come off. In fact, the tape has not failed me yet, I just replace it with a new tape every few days. I would highly recommend this product for anyone, trying to stick something to their body while being active, sweating, and showering. Read more

I do love the KT tape. I even got the pink polka dot to be trendy. Worked great on my knees. Followed the video in the directions. They go a little fast but kept rewinding. Now I need on my hand. I tried to move a heavy box and throbbing since Feb. 2022. Of course I should see a Dr. She did send me for an X-ray. Noted degenerative changes. Don’t know how since nothing to compare to. Need specialist now. So I followed directions and when I wash my hands. I only get the fingers on that hand. In an hour or so the tape starts coming up as seen in picture. The other side is fine. Maybe it’s because it is my dominant hand. Feels much better since using the tape. But changing strips once or twice a day. Maybe just should try taping the top only. But, not water resistant. Soaks in moisture and loosens tape. Still my favorite. Feels like wearing a brace. It’s amazing. Just have to order too soon and expensive. So, my stars above are only related to the hand.
