I was a little skeptical to buy this. I've seen it from time to time, but was hesitant that this would actually clean my ring. I just got a new band added to my wedding and engagement ring and had it professionally cleaned, so I wanted to find something that wouldn't be harsh to my ring or use chemicals and still give it that amazing sparkle. **I wish I would have taken before and after pics, but I honestly didn't expect this kind of result. So, the first time I used it. I just used warm water and some dawn. There wasn't any solution with this purchase. I didn't expect there to be, but the booklet/instruction manual mentions using "solution", which was not included. So, I put put a few sprays in the tub with warm water and let it do it's thing for about 3 minutes. While cleaning, it vibrates, but it's not loud at all or overwhelming. My cats get scared while it's on, but I get a laugh out of it. So, once it was done, I checked it and it was definitely sparkly. When you use warm water and then put the lid on to clean, the warm water stays warm for quite some time, so it's being cleaned with the warm water without losing it's temperature which is a huge plus and aids the cleaning process. I used it a second time the next day, this time I looked up natural ring cleaning solutions to use to see if there was a difference. This time I put a few sprays of dawn dish soap, baking powder, and hot water (a little more warmer than the first time). It came out AMAZING!!! I took it out after about 5 minutes, and scrubbed my ring with a gentle toothbrush (that was unused) and then rinsed it off and dried it and it looked GORGEOUS!!!! I was shocked and I'm definitely a skeptical person. The next day, I tried to wash my glasses. I live in Texas where it hot so my lenses are always getting smudged or oils on them. I used the same dawn dish soap (since it works great on grease and oil) and my lenses came out amazing. I have switched from cleaning my glasses with a cloth, to using this. Now, I'm gonna go and find more stuff to clean and see how things come out. Lol Read more
I bought this think can I clean my jewelry and my husbands Invisalign trays at the same It's super handy and easy to use. Just pump some soap into the tray along with some water, press the button and the 3 minute cleaning process starts right away. Sometimes I use 2 cycles so make sure it's absolutely clean. Works great! My husbands invisalign were previously cleaned by hand with a toothbrush and water but over time, the trays felt more and more dirty and accumulated dirt somehow. With this, they feel a lot cleaner and even save me the trouble cleaning them by hand. I shouldn't have waited so long to get it but I'm glad I finally did. It is not loud .It can take as little as 3 minutes to clean. The machine is long and quite small which is handy for travelling but it only just barely fits my invisalign trays. It still works great but it is also something to consider. It seems to be built well and doesn't leak. A good buy! Read more
I struggle to get my jewelry and glasses clean. I was looking for something that was effective, quick and easy to use, and size. This ultrasonic cleaner in clean sturdy packaging. When opened I found each piece separated and packaged independently. It came with a pair of antimagnetic tweezers and a cloth for cleaning. The ultrasonic cleaner is compact enough to fit in a small area and store away. Design is simple and easy to use. Instructions provided some detail to help get started along. It didn’t provide much information other than written and visual instructions to show parts and simple completion. I tested the ultrasonic machine using my earrings and glasses. I was able to fit both into the machine with no issue. I filled the water with a cap full of cleaning solution and water below the fill line just to make sure there was no spillage however I did notice water dripping down the sides of the machine even with the cap on. Overall the machine works okay, it’s capable of getting simple dirty and particles off which I saw happen with my glasses but struggled with cleaning my earrings. I ended up having to clean my earrings about 5 times before they were fully clean. The great thing was the machine ran automatically for roughly 3 minutes each so I didn’t give up a ton of time cleaning them. Read more
Works perfectly! A little louder than expected but not extreme. Cleans all jewelry beautifully and quickly. Looks sleek. I love seeing the dirt come off of my jewelry and glasses. Oddly satisfying. Read more
Cleans well and it’s fun to watch all the dirt come off. Apparently I should clean my jewelry more frequently because it was gross! For items with a lot of crevices it loosens the dirt but doesn’t really get it out - you need a brush or pick or something. Gems look very shiny after. In addition to jewelry we have cleaned a Fitbit band, glasses/sunglasses and it works well on all items. I am only using water, not sure if jewelry cleaning solution is necessary. Read more
The ultrasonic cleaner is compact and convenient, making it an appealing choice for those with limited space. However, its small size poses a challenge when it comes to cleaning larger frames, as they simply do not fit comfortably within the device. While it does an excellent job of cleaning jewelry, the built-in self-timer requires multiple cycles to achieve the desired level of cleanliness, which can be somewhat inconvenient. I often find myself unsure of how many times I need to press the start button to ensure my jewelry is thoroughly cleaned, leading to a bit of trial and error. Overall, while the cleaner is effective for smaller items, its limitations with larger pieces and the need for repeated cycles can be a drawback for users looking for a more efficient cleaning solution.
