I’ve been using this vacuum backpack for travel and honestly it’s pretty awesome, especially if you’re an overpacker like me. The 60L size already holds a ton, but the vacuum compression makes it feel like you magically gain extra space, the little pump actually works and is super easy to use. It feels sturdy and water resistant, and I like that it has a TSA lock so I don’t worry about it getting messed with at the airport. Haven't used for travel yet. However the quality upon delivery seems great and my test pack of a weekend trip to Miami has the bag the same size as my Northface Surge backpack. Except filled with 5 days worth of clothing and 2 pairs of shoes plus toiletries. Read more
I really want to like this and so far with my first vacuum test, it stayed compressed overnight and only deflated a little. The style is descent and the pockets/storage areas are great. The zipper is difficult to open to ensure that the seal is great. It’s awesome there are grip handles on both top and bottom to help open the zippers. What makes this a 3 star is, the pump it comes with, although small and compact, its instruction booklet and how to actually start it is clunky. Don’t know if I could trust the quality of the pump for a trip outside the country. I know it’s significantly cheaper than the more well known brand but if it doesn’t work and isn’t reliable, what’s the point. I will be traveling to another country this week and I’ll update my review after my trip. My main thing is to see if a vacuum backpack actually needed, but I’ll see this week. Read more
