Top performance, high quality, light weight and very affordable

BernieJanuary 25, 2026✓ Verified purchase

Outstanding little stove. Solid with tight tolerances and very little warping. Also extremely light and very affordable. Large opening makes feeding the fire very easy and safe. Also can add long sticks and keep feeding it in to prevent having to break the sticks into smaller pieces. Extremely light and durable. I have tried a lot of twig stoves and this one is premier. I highly recommend it. It is hard to get all these features in one package and at such a reasonable price, but Kuvik has managed to do it. Read more

No Fuel Required Except What Nature Provides

David MigliaSeptember 3, 2025✓ Verified purchase

For a light, packable stove it fits the bill. Good quality titanium panels. Not too difficult to snap together, and once its assembled it stays together. It isnt large, but it is sturdy and does a fine job. Also functions as a small heat source. Very happy with it. Read more

OVERALL A GOOD CHOICE

GeepopDecember 25, 2024✓ Verified purchase

Twig stove. Made of titanium so that's good, heats up and cools off quicker. Wish it were one gauge thicker so took a star off for that. Comes with a handy storage pouch, which is really a must. Folds flat and compact. Will easily fit in a small day pack. In the case: about 6"x7"x1/4", 7.7 oz/188 gm. With reasonable care should last for a decade or more. No fuel canisters to carry out or buy, or running out of fuel worries. Use twigs and small branches from downed trees that are up off the ground. Start with twigs smaller then a match and then add to that. It is a one pot stove so if you're impatient or cooking for a group two may work better for you. You're cooking over an open flame so your pots will get black and sooty. Just bring something to wipe the pots and stove down with when they cool off. There are pros and cons to every stove choice but overall I think this is a good choice. Should work well for backpackers, AT hikers or day hikers. Car campers will probably want something more. Convenient and light little stove that works well.

cwatkinNovember 18, 2025✓ Verified purchase

I bought this for use on a backpacking trip as I always try to cook with natural fuels. I am definitely happy. The assembly is easy and fuel burns hot and complete, leaving only ash. Water is boiled quickly and small skillets fit nicely. The carry case is nice to prevent soot from turning your gear black. Be aware that when dumping ashes, the two top cross bars tend to fall out. I would suggest removing them before cleaning out this little stove. As with any fire, you need a clear area around it. If you set it in a bed of leaves it will set them on fire. Bare dirt or rock is required. That is one difference vs a liquid or gas fuel stove. Read more

Super light and compact.

Throttle13July 21, 2025✓ Verified purchase

Have not had a chance to try it with flame yet, but the quality and light weight are immediately obvious. It's a bit smaller than I expected, but is just the right size to balance a small tea kettle or pot, maybe up to about medium size. I would expect to have to keep it stoked quite often, but as a compact and important addition to a bug-out or backpacking kit, it seems to fit the bill. Read more

Leaves a ton of soot but works great.

spartandocSeptember 29, 2025✓ Verified purchase

This thing gets very hot and is super light and very well made. Make sure to have a lot of sticks ready to go as it will burn through them quickly and you don't want to be hurriedly looking for more sticks. The biggest problem is it leaves a ton of soot on the pan you are cooking in. Read more
