Juicing for the first time was easy and fun. I read the reviews and made sure the pulp catcher fit snug against the body. It latched together nicely and was quieter than I thought it would be, like a blender. My juicing experience was awesome. There were no hiccups and it was a pleasure to use this fine piece of equipment. The only thing I didn't like was cleaning up, too bad there is no autoclean function. It cleaned up fine with some warm water and soap. Anyways, recommended. I'll followup after I juice more. But the equipment was quality, performed well and cleaned up like new. Read more

After reading the reviews on several jusicers, I chose this one because it seemed to have the "right stuff". According to the users, it has a good metal bowl, is easy to clean and does a good job of juicing. I found all these things to be true. The pulp is quite dry, it does a really good job, and the mouth is large enough for good sized pieces to be fed into the juicer. It also has a collection cup that has a wall in it that helps seperate the foam from the juice. Overall we were quite happy with it. BUT...(read to the end for an update 1 year later) We have used it less than 100 times, and found a problem. There are locking straps that hold the lid down. instead of making the buckle out of metal, they are made out of plastic, and one of them has broken. We now have a juicer that looks good on the counter, and is not worth much more than a paper weght... For the first couple of months we were really happy with it, but it is not durable enough for daily use. If you intend to juice daily, then look elsewhere. Just an update, I went to the Kuvings web site, and ordered several replacement clips. While not ideal, it was a cheap alternative to buying a new juicer. I have so far only replaced on strap. We use it regularly, and it does a GREAT job of juicing. So far everything else has been durable, and the replacement straps are cheap. We bought several, and it has worked like a champ. May 2013: One year later, and I still like this juicer. It works well and except for the straps, which are easy to get, it has had no other problems. I recommend this product! It is a good juicer for the money. (After breaking 2 straps in the first three months, we have not broken another.) Read more

Easy to clean. I don't like the way it seals eith 2 plastic lever arms.. probably will break eventually. You have to cut up fruit super tiny to process it. Lots of waste. Not that much juice. Took a pound of carrots to make a small glass of juice. Just not happy with it. Read more

I had researched a little bit to try to find a juicer that was right for me. I needed something that was easy to clean, fast and would get a good yield. I also wanted something with a big mouth to help save time with prep in the morning. This has been perfect for me so far. The worst part to clean is the mesh screen, but, I find an old toothbrush works better than the brush they give you. The mouth is big enough for most things to fit without cutting. I use gala apples and the majority of them fit in whole. This saves me so much time! The pulp that comes out is pretty dry compared to some that I have used. It was about the same as my old masticating juicer. The only 2bad things I have had are that he stupid thing comes with a tiny cup. Come on I want some juice man! I just use my 4cup glass measuring cup. If you don't like the separation of the juice from the little bit of pulp that comes out, then you will have to strain it. I highly recommend this juicer! That's what I wanted it for. Only had it two months, juicing once a week to make enough for breakfast and lunch four days a week as part of my cancer treatment. After 1.5 months, one of the clips that holds the top down and releases the safety switch so it will operate broke in half. I tried contacting the warranty department, but the email address was bounced. I then called, and the person answering could not speak my language without the thickest accent I've ever heard. I could only pick-up half of what he said, and I was unsure if he was understanding what I said. I gave up and just ordered a set of new clips AND a new mesh, as the prices were reasonable. Their website does NOT show this model as available OR supported, but it uses the same parts as the orange and white centrifugal juicer. I know I ordered the BLACK clips, as they are also the same on a similar, larger model that is supported. They sent me white ones. No matter - the package was delivered in three business days and free shipping. Juicer works fine. Read more

Bought this a while ago but just getting around to using it mostly because I know how work intensive juice extracting is. I bought it for health reasons and need the benefits fresh juice adds to the body’s recovery process. The 9500 is an excellent little machine for the money. It does a great job of not leaving pulp in the juice. Assembly is uncomplicated though because of seemingly fragile plastic parts I take great care in the set up to make sure everything is tight before turning it on. Clean up is the only drag but that is with every juice extractor. The key to easier cleaning is to do it right away. Read more
