Have tried different brands from the brick & mortar stores, from on line vendors & then bought one of these during a Prime Day sale earlier this year. Oh my, no comparison with others we have had. This brand is substantial, well made, looks good and is effective in protecting our floors from foot traffic and pet accidents (they clean easily, too). This is perfect for my entryway. It collects dirt and dog hair (from 4 long haired dogs), has a low profile, and cleans really easily. Highly recommend for looks, price, and functionality! Some rugs collect dog hair but then it is VERY hard to remove it easily because it attracts it too well, this one cleans really easily with a vac or with one of those 'carpet fur scraper' things that is like a tough comb that you use to collect dog hair off floors.
