The package arrived as ordered, with excellent flat cardboard covers. It was flat, fit just as expected and works very well! There is no 'give' to the material. Weboth think it was money well spent. Have only had it a short time, so I can't speak to longevity but it works great, lays flat and doesn't shift around (move) under the chair. Love the fact that it ships flat, so it lays flat without having to lay it out and weigh the corners down until it stays flat. I have it on a low pile carpet and have not noticed the chair putting dips in the mat. I can definitely recommend this mat if you want one that ships flat and doesn't move under the chair. Read more

Update - DO NOT BUY Okay, so I have had this mat for a couple of months now and it is a no-go. It has started warping now and the edges are lifting up about 2 inches. So it stayed great until the return window closed and now it is warping. Extreme trip hazard and it actually is high enough your chair can't get back on unless you get up and lift the chair and replace. Really sad about this as it is obviously not made to last long. I did give it five stars originally, now it is a strong, Do Not Buy. For the price you would think it would last longer than a couple of months. Avoid, avoid, avoid. Original Review: Finally! I seriously mean that, finally! I had purchased and returned way too many chair mats looking for this exact one! I got the one that is just shy of 4x5. I was really hoping for a 4x5, but no such luck. But this one works! Okay, first and foremost, why do I love this one? Because it ships flat. That might not sound like much, it it makes all the difference in the world. All of my edges, yes, you read that correctly, all of my edges lay flat on my carpet! I can't tell you what that alone is worth! It is good quality and its thickness is good. It is a little thinner than my last one, but it still works well. It hasn't moved around on the floor yet, so all of that is really good! It doesn't weigh too much so one person can manage it, even one this big. I really like this mat. I'm a big guy with a big-guy's rolling chair. Even at my weight with a big heavy chair, this works perfect. The price seems high, but honestly, I would pay it again for this mat, that's how much I like it. By the way, you will note that I am an Amazon Vine reviewer, however, this was not a vine items and I paid for this as a regular Customer. So rest assured, this is my 100% honest opinion. I shopped way too long and too many places for a mat that would word to protect my floor, but, more importantly, let me roll comfortably. It gave me great floor protection and easy rolling.
