Quality Matcha

I ordinally would buy Matcha directly from Japan, however; due to increase costs and production issues I have been utilizing other options. While browsing Amazon’s selection of Ceremonial Grade Matcha, this company stood out. I purchased it based on the authenticity and origin of Matcha source. The packaging was of high quality and upon opening the Matcha was a vibrant green, as what one would expect from a high-grade Matcha. I prepared it as a Usucha. I did not detect any sweetness at all, it was astringent to me and left a lingering after taste in my mouth for hours which I found unpleasant. I will say it is a quality Matcha because I felt very calm and relaxed within an hour of drinking due to the high Theanine content. If the after taste is not an issue for you, then I would recommend it. Read more
