These lights look sleek and modern — perfect for hallways or bedrooms. The dusk-to-dawn sensor works flawlessly, turning on automatically at night. I like that the brightness is adjustable, so I can keep it dim for a cozy glow or bright enough to navigate in the dark. They’re energy-efficient and add a nice touch of comfort to the home. Great nightlight. Really like the amber color and how it illuminates things in the night while still being really easy on the eyes. The dispersion of the lights, how they just point up/down, is really nice as it lights the wall but does not shine directly in your eye. The dimmer adjustment is convenient, I leave it just above the minimum setting which is perfect. The daylight sensor that turns the light on/off is on the left side. In my case, that leaves the light on longer than necessary as that's the side opposite to the window. In winter months the room doesn't get bright enough to turn the light off. Not a big deal since the power consumption is so low, but it'd be great to somehow be able to rotate the light so the sensor is on the opposite side. Light is sized such that you can just barely plug another item in below it when you use the top outlet. Wider plugs may be an issue, otherwise there's no issue plugging in a second device into the same outlet. Read more

I can’t explain how much I love these lights! I would go around my house and turn on all of my night lights once it got dark and these go on automatically and turn off automatically. I love the blue collar. It’s soft enough to not bother you if you’re sleeping near one, but still lights up the whole room. They also have a dimmer switch so you can adjust how bright the blue light is also very convenient. Recommend this was a goodbye. Read more

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Our brains are wired to wake up to the sun rising (blue light), so any even artificial light where we're sleeping will cause a corresponding drop in melatonin production and interfere with our ability to get good restorative sleep. (You feel like you're sleeping right on the surface and are still tired when you wake up.) But red light contains no blue light, and does not cause this effect. Amber lights are good too, but to a lesser extent. But red light is the best for this. And I can attest that these nightlights are giving off a true red light. My eyes would know. Speaking of, if you have any sensitivity to light like I do, red light does not change your vision so it does not cause your muscles to contract or expand. So, no sensitivity or pain. This is why if you've ever gone out to view the stars with a group at an "uninterrupted night-sky event," you'll see them using red lights. Even a momentary flash of anything containing blue light (like an accidental headlight flash, oops) causes us to lose our full night vision for like half an hour. So, red light lets us see in the dark, without changing our vision. It's kind of magic. And I've had several of these in use for the past couple years and they've been great. (They only come on when the room's dark.) I use them in the cats' room too since it's a myth that cats have perfect sight in the dark. Their night vision is just better than ours, but they have things to do in there in the dark, ahem, and this makes sure they can see fine without keeping them awake. Cats need their sleep! And so do we. PS: These nightlights are also fully adjustable, and I think they are a nice design and an elevated look from most others. Why not have some classy nightlights in our homes…? Might as well. Read more

I love the aesthetic of these items! It is super lightweight, and the brightness can be adjusted. It is the perfect size because another outlet can be used underneath it! The black goes with the color of my home and it gives my home a soft comfort glow at night. However, I don’t think it works super well, it randomly turns on and off and I have to touch the brightness button for it to turn on at all. I have it in well lit areas as it was recommended, but I still randomly have trouble with some of the lights working like it should! It is nice when it actually works! Perfect amount of light that turns on my itself when it senses darkness! I love that it is adjustable with a little slider on the side so you can choose how much light you need. I keep one in the hallway for the dog at night and one in the bathroom for ambience and soft lighting when I wake up at night to use the bathroom. Plugs right in so there’s need to charge or worry about batteries! If I lived in a bigger place, I would buy even more of these! Read more

I love these. I like how they look more upscale than most conventional night lights, not just in their aesthetic design but in the ambience they create. I went from not liking night lights to buying these because my kids like night lights, to installing them in nearly all my rooms for a cozy “movie theater lighting” effect. They are dimmable and cast a very nice warm light from barely visible to bright enough to see clearly in a dark room. I have at least one in every room, usually two for visual balance. They are perfect to have within reach next to a couch while watching tv where you can easily use the dimmer slider to add enough light to see your remote or food without the harshness of a table lamp. I started off with two of these and have at least 10 at this point. Is it weird that a night light is one of my favorite purchases of the last 6 months? Is this what adulting means? Read more
