I haven’t slept in a totally dark room since I was about ten years old. For the past five decades, I would use the bathroom light, a lamp, or any light that would provide relief from the darkness. This nightlight is perfect. There are two in the package. All you have to do is open the package and plug the nightlight in where you want it. So the installation is super easy. The brightness and quality of the light is perfect. It doesn’t give too much light. However, there are two levels, just in case you want a brighter light. There isn’t a motion detector. The light turns off when it detects daylight from your windows. It turns on at dusk when daylight is no longer detected. I put one in my bedroom and one in the den. Great night light that does light up pretty well or dims if needed. They do sense when the room is well lit and will automatically turn off, but when it senses darkness it will auto turn on as described. They look very sleek. Easy to use Read more

I purchased these night lights because my apartment has curves and its difficult to see in the hall ways going from one room to another. Wow! These little night lights are perfect. The lights are soft and contemporary looking. They provide just enough light enabling me and my dog to move from room to room without having to search for the light switch or bump into anything. This nightlight is perfect in my bathroom! It's plugged in next to the sink, offers plenty of light in the middle of the night, and shuts off when I turn the overhead light on for normal use. NOTE: The 'louvers' you see in the pics are decorative only. I did have to add a short piece of white paper above the top rim to keep direct light out of my eyes. The color temperature of the lights is ideal for a night light. Bright enough to illuminate an area but soft enough to have a perfect balance. They look classy and feel like a well made product. I’ve had one in my laundry room and one in the kitchen for about a month now and already can’t imagine not having them. The laundry room is the back entrance of the house so coming home at night doesn’t mean fumbling for a light. Excellent product at a price that felt more than reasonable.
