I opted for these because the cost is more affordable than other pads with organic cotton top layers. The pad itself is nicely made. Soft, absorbent, sticks well to stay in place. You can see that the absorbent under layer works to wick away moisture from the top layer to the bottom layers immediately. I love these pads and will buy them from now on. They truly are super absorbent which you would never guess! I was suspicious and quite surprised when I opened them and saw how thin they were. But I have not had any problems with leakage during my periods. I love how I don’t have to be uncomfortable every month anymore, wearing a thick ol’ pad between my legs that doesn’t even stay put for long. Whenever I use sanitary pads that have that plastic-like absorbent layer, I usually get irritation on my inner thighs to the point where it becomes uncomfortable to even walk. When I tried this pack of pads, there was no going back. They are incredibly comfortable and feel much softer on the skin. I have sensitive skin, so finding pads that don’t cause irritation is very important for me. I’ve tried both the daily liners and the extra-large ones for nighttime, and both work great. I found these back in late 2022 and they were an amazing find. Super absorbent and gentle without making me feel wet and bulky. I felt disappointed following two purchases in 2023 because the 100% cotton pads seemed very different like the formula had changed. The cotton no longer stayed together in its original shape. It clumped together resulting in open gaps under the pad liner with no cotton filling. Honestly its possible that this is the difference between the "Regular" and the "Super" size (or bigger) because if you look at pictures the regular doesn't have enough stitching. But I felt strongly about continuing to support L. as they are still way ahead of competitors on compact cotton pads, they are diverse, and they are a certified B corp which is important to me. So I was pleased to see when I purchased them again in 2024, the "super" size, that the design had improved and the cotton stayed in place when pinched throughout the day. The cotton top layer is nice and soft, and the adhesion stays in place. The only difference I notice now between 2022 and 2024 is the cotton is not as "fluffy" on the surface (it almost felt like fabric soft in 2022 which might just be the feel of the "regular" size), so it might be the slightest bit less soft but still much softer than any plastic pad. I recommend to reduce waste that L. combine the adhesion wrapping and the pad wrapper into one piece of plastic instead of two separate wrappers. Read more
