I'm so happy with this suit! I am about 150lbs, size 36E, size 10, and I have trouble finding suits that fit me well at the chest. I purchased this suit in a size 16 and it fits perfectly; I'm not overflowing or falling out, but there is still a slight bit of attractive cleavage showing. The ruching at the waist is flattering, too. I pull the "sleeve" part up a little to sit on my shoulders and have had no problem with it sliding down while I'm swimming. I actually purchased a swimsuit like this a few years ago at a retailer in Florida. I lost some weight so it became too large and I needed to order another one. I found this on Amazon at a much better price than I had paid at the retailer. It is high-quality it is found in high-end stores where we live. The material is fairly thick and has a good feel to it. It is good for wearing at the beach all day long! The coverage is very good and modest which I like and it is flattering on. The one I had purchased at a retailer was a plus size and it had spaghetti straps with it, my only complaint is that this one did not have that because it was not a plus size. I liked the little spaghetti straps as I was a bit hesitant about wearing an off the shoulder, but it stays up very well. Read more

This is a great overall, very flattering swimsuit, but the arm ruffles make it awkward/uncomfortable to move your arms at all. Yes, you can keep them down at your sides and it feels fine, but lifting them even halfway up, let alone swimming in a pool would feel very uncomfortable. I would have loved this if the swimsuit allowed for the arms to be just left off completely (so the ruffle went all the way around the suit and the top was completely open. I tried this and it looked so cute, but there was extra material for the arm holes that made it look awkward under my armpits so had to return. Read more

Very cute and flattering, well constructed, and made of high-quality material. Even though it has some tummy control and support, it doesn't feel like shapewear and it's easy to put on. I do recommend that you wear the ruffle neckline a little higher on your shoulders so that you can actually move your arms. (Edited to add that the plus-size version does not have any lacing up the front. It's just solid.) Read more

Peter is my husband. I, his wife, have purchased several La Blanca suits in the past, love their quality. However, I recently lost weight, and went to purchase this suit again, in a different color, and smaller size, because I've always loved it. Now that I am purchasing a regular size (not Womens, like 16W) there are no straps included! I am busty, so I loved having the straps to keep the top where I wanted it, but regular sized have the cut out in back (which I liked) and NO STRAPS. I am still busty at the smaller size, and I just don't feel comfortable in this without the straps, it feels like it'll fall down. No one wants to see that. Will be returning, sadly. Read more

This is honestly the best swim suit I have ever owned in my 33 years!! With having a pear shape, I find it difficult to find full coverage in the bottom. This suit in fact coverage that and what I feel is “problem” areas for curvy girls. The inner fabric layer is like spandex but super comfortable. Then the outer layer is forgiving and not as tight. It fits right up to my arm pits and is higher in the back. With constantly chasing a toddler and young kids are a water park daily it has proven itself to be the best swimsuit ever!! Read more
