This is a very emollient and thick lotion that you might think would never absorb, but no, it goes on quite smoothly. I have dry skin and typically must combine both lotion and oil to get hydrated skin and even then it doesn't last. This lasts, its not too greasy and it really moisturizes and softens. This lotion has been SO helpful for my son's skin. He battled eczema starting at 2 months old and we tried every lotion under the sun - Aveeno, Cetaphil, CereVe, Mustela, beef tallow, olive oil, coconut oil, Shea butter, and more! I finally as a last ditch effort ordered this lotion and saw a change in his skin within a few days to a week. I think it must be the thermal water they use! It does burn on open cuts (that I've personally experienced from cuts on my hands when I apply it) but my son seemed to handle it okay on most of his eczema. His skin is pretty much completely normal now after months and months of battling the eczema. We did also find food allergies and I changed things in both of our diets, but this lotion really seemed to help get us out of the constant flare up cycle. I really believe which lotion will work just depends on your kids skin but I think it's worth a shot if you're looking for one for your baby with eczema. It is a thicker lotion, but not crazy heavy. It absorbs great and is not greasy or oily. It makes his skin so so soft! My only complaint is that you can't get all the lotion out of the bottle so it feels like a lot is wasted. This is my go-to face and skin moisturizer. Not only does it keep my skin nice and soft, but it is such a great brand because a little bit goes in Long Way. I love the fact that it's fragrance free, and it has been dermatologist tested for safety. It's a little pricey, but when you calculate the fact that it spreads a lot and goes a long way. THIS WILL MAKE YOU GREASY WHEN YOU ARE WEARING IT!!! It is THICK, super moisturizing, has clean ingredients, overall a great night cream. It will make you very shiny, so I would recommend not wearing it during the day. Clean, pleasant, and not overpowering scent. Also this one bottle will last months. Great value for money! I repurchased after using daily for 6+ months. There is a TON of product left in the bottle when the pump stops working so make sure to cut it open and scrape out the extra to not waste any!! it has done MAGIC for my children’s mild eczema!!! i rub them down after their baths with this lotion, giving the patches extra attention and 3 weeks later, their patches have almost disappeared completely. it’s not sticky, greasy, it’s perfect for winter time and gentle enough to use on your face (a little goes a long way) i think the price is right for a bottle that size, especially with how much it’s helped my children. their skin is hydrated, soft, and supple. also, it’s free of fragrance so that’s been a huge plus!!! This is my all time favorite moisturizer!! I first bought it early November when the temperature dropped and my skin could not take the cold, dry air. It helped my dry, flaky skin so much! It did not irritate my skin at all and I really like that it doesn’t have any fragrance. The size is perfect and you get so much product out of it! It can be a bit heavy for some people but for the daytime use I just apply a tiny bit and it’s perfect. I use it before bed and wake up with such soft skin.
