Stunning Neutral Staple Suit
This beige suit is more of an oyster color, very neutral off-white rather than a warm tan. It is a perfect neutral three-season suit that can be paired with many colors; I styled it with an edgy subtle animal print belt and metallic sleeveless shell. The quality is superb for a suit at this price point: The jacket is lined, almost unheard of these days, and the fabric is medium-weight, with heft and structure, which is wonderful for those of us who are tired of spandex and lightweight, clingy pants. The fabric does breathe - I wore it on a very warm day but never felt uncomfortable. Small but important details in the seamwork also loft this suit beyond expectations: The shoulders have slight padding and stitching to lift them a bit; the jacket has a fabric-covered button. I love the collarless look of the jacket. Fit was true to size, although anyone shorter than 5 feet 6 inches will need to wear heels that are two inches or higher to avoid pant alterations/shortening. Although the item arrived wrinkled and did require significant ironing, the overall look was absolutely stunning and exceeded my expectations.
