The media could not be loaded. As I age, I have been noticing more fine lines and loss of elasticity. I am in my early forties so have been actively working on my facial skin. Just recently I noticed my neck is getting some crepey droop. I now now it is time to bring out the top tier skincare. I have used lancome mostly for makeup but also for their cream cleanser. I was aware of the skincare lines but never invested. The price tag is very expensive yet reasonable. In my collection of various creams this is high yet normal for more luxury mindset and occasionally results too. I love the added collagen as an advid collagen user. I find collagen is a key to help give my face that much needed lift and tightening. I was curious about the collagen threads aspect too. The cream is light, airy and has no texture to indicate threads or anything fiber feeling. I appreciate that as I have sensory issues with grit or texture. The cream is not greasy at all. I felt that it absorbs into my skin without causing any harsh reactions to my sensitive skin. I have normal or combination skin that is sensitive and dry seasonally. Some creams can flare my areas of red flush but this cream did not. I think this cream feels absolutely rich and luxurious. The quality seems correct to the price. I noticed that it absorbs beautifully, and leaves my visibly hydrated skin slightly smoother , and more lifted but not tight. My complexion looks fresh and radiant since I started regular use. One thing I love about this bramd is the way it feels and looks. This cream works great under my makeup, and sunscreen. I rarely wear makeup because I need to rebuy a full face worth. I do use color correction cream daily. I use a cream cleanser by this brand too that works well but is very drying. This cream felt extra amazing after my steps and serums. I am already seeing results and I waited longer to post my review to wait and see. My husband can't tell but I can see that my neck is already improving. I know it is improving because that is the concern that bothers me the most. I struggle with neck aging as it is something harder to cover up. I called one of my old girlfriends that worked the counter for this brand and she told me to apply with upward, outward motions. Patting too. Not to over apply with this cream. I do gua sha so I was expecting some sculpting to be a good idea. Very little cream is needed to do these motions but a little more is great if using with a tool. I am pleased with this opportunity to really experience a line of skincare that I never took the leap on. This is the typical price, and therefore I am happy with the purchase. The jar was easy to use. The top is effortlessly twisted off and the jar is well balanced. The aroma is a typical rosey cream like most products from this brand are. I love this! I purchase tons of Lancome, and this more than lives up to the quality that I've come to expect from the brand. My one caveat here, and one I attach to the beginning of EVERY collagen product I review, is that "collagen" in skincare products is mostly just a buzzword. Collagen will soften and plump, but it's just one member of a team of ingredients, and offers a temporary boost ONLY. There are bigger stars on this team like HA and peptides -- those are what really bring the "oomph" to most products. The cream is silky-smooth and goes on very easily. It absorbs well, with zero greasiness despite the richness. It feels super luxurious, and makes my skin feel super luxurious as well -- after wearing overnight, I woke up with my skin feeling soft, smooth, and hydrated. I didn't need much, since it can spread super thin and still moisturize well, ao even a small amount can be effective. I'm fairly young, so can't speak too much on the anti-aging effects. But I do live a high-stress lifestyle with lots of travel, and will say that my skin felt plumper, looked more even, and seemed brighter after use vs my normal moisturizers. My skin is of the sensitive variety, and I didn't experience any irritation whatsoever. There is a light rose-type scent, typical to Lancome -- no issues from this, as per usual lol. The jar is also lovely and feels very polished and luxurious. It's got some weightiness to it, opens and closes like a dream, and looks surprisingly nice on my nightstand. Overall, I love this and think it is good value. Although the cream is on the higher end price-wise, you get a pretty good quantity, good results, etc. -- you're not just getting a cream, you're getting a luxury experience. 5 stars from me! This cream does feel a bit greasy and feels very rich, even though it looks like it could be a light gel with a very faint pink tint. While it does feel a bit heavy on the skin, it does leave your skin feeling soft and firm all day. I do wish they went a little lighter on the fragrance, because while it is subtle it is still very noticeable, and as someone with sensitive & acne-prone skin despite being in late 30s, I would have preferred unscented & fragrance-free formula. I also noticed that if you put on too much, sometimes the cream can peel and ball up like small eraser bits on the skin, so it's better not to overapply and only use a pea-sized amount like their instructions. I’ve been using this cream mostly at night, and I have to say I really love it. The texture is rich and creamy, but once you start applying it, it melts into the skin beautifully and doesn’t leave that greasy feeling some heavier creams can. The directions say to use about a pea-sized amount and tap it into the skin, applying in an upward motion from the bottom of the face toward the top. A little really does go a long way, and it spreads easily. Right away my skin feels softer and more hydrated, but the real difference is the next morning. When I wake up, my skin feels incredibly nourished and looks so much more refreshed. It has that smooth, slightly plump look that makes your skin seem more youthful and well rested. It’s one of those creams where you look in the mirror in the morning and immediately notice how good your skin looks. I also feel like my skin just looks healthier overall when I use this consistently. It gives that subtle firmness and glow that makes your complexion look really well cared for. Like most Lancôme products, it does have their signature rose scent. I actually think it smells lovely and adds to that luxurious feel when you apply it. It’s definitely a splurge, but this is one of those creams that really makes your skin feel pampered.
