This is my first time buying a bathrobe, and I wanted one that was warm, thick, and long enough for me to modestly wear on its own after getting out of the shower. This robe checks all those boxes! After first wash, it seems to hold up well (it did shed a lot of lint on that first wash, so be prepared for that!) It is a nice knee-length on me and there is enough fabric to wrap around so there’s no awkward gap. It seems thick enough to be fairly absorbent, at least for damp skin (maybe not if you’re dripping wet). It’s not super soft – it feels pretty much like wrapping a big towel around yourself, but that’s to be expected with the terry cloth fabric (and I specifically looked for terry cloth, as opposed to the plush fabrics, because I wanted it for after the shower). Overall, it fits and feels as expected and I’m happy with it! I wish I could’ve gotten the blue color but only the white one was on sale. But for a under-$40 robe, I’d say this one is definitely worth purchasing! Read more
